"Disappointing! - The site is conveniently located as a base for various city tours, otherwise it is a mobile home park that has been expanded with 70 tourist pitches. The nearby toilets (5) don't even have hot water for washing your hands. You also have to pay for hot flushing water and the shower. Internet did not work during our stay! Be careful when booking: you have to pay the total price in advance and if you leave early you only get a voucher for the proportionate stay next year......

Welcome to Camping Baalse Hei in Turnhout. Here you will find an oasis of peace and greenery in the Antwerp Kempen, bordering a unique and extensive nature reserve, with plenty of fun and culture in the immediate vicinity. At Camping …Baalse Hei you can enjoy all types of holiday. Choose to camp with your own tent or camper van, or select one of our rental accommodations, suitable for up to six people. Will it be a relaxing or active holiday in the Antwerp Kempen, which is full of nature? Campsite Baalse Hei has spacious and quiet pitches of about 100 m² in a meadow surrounded by greenery. You can camp here with your own tent, caravan, camper van or trailer tent. Baalse Hei is located in Turnhout, near the Dutch border, so you can enjoy a camping holiday in the nature of the Kempen. The beautiful surroundings and facilities such as the swimming pond, playground and catering establishments will make your camping holiday in Belgium complete. At Baalse Hei, you can also enjoy our wonderful leisure facilities, such as the three large ponds on the campsite (fishing pond, rowing pond and swimming pond with beach), which provide hours of water fun. You can also have fun on the sports field with a game of football or volleyball with the other camping guests. But you should also definitely explore the unspoilt forests of the Antwerp Kempen. Are you spending your holiday with children? Our entertainment team is ready and waiting to help them have the most exciting and fun-filled adventures! The tavern offers both light and savoury meals with a nice selection of hot dishes. You can also pick up a delicious snack at the take-out snack bar. You can quench your thirst with a soft drink or, of course, with water.
