We received a very friendly welcome and were given all the information we needed. The pitch and sanitary facilities were very clean. You need shower tokens for hot water and you shouldn't forget toilet paper. There is a bread roll service at reception and there is a restaurant on the site. The pitches are large enough, but you are relatively close to your neighbors (without separating bushes/hedges). We found the atmosphere very friendly and... didn't feel uncomfortable as Germans among the predominantly Belgian seasonal campers. Hot water in the showers etc. costs money and everyone has to bring their own toilet paper, but overall the price-performance ratio is still reasonable. There is a large supermarket about 1 km from the campsite. The campsite is well suited for sightseeing in Bruges, about 15 km away (very worth seeing). We cycled to Bruges (several times) on beautiful, well-signposted country lanes and cycle paths and therefore had no parking problems there. The campsite is generally well suited for cycling tours in the surrounding area. We were pleasantly surprised by how bike-friendly the region is (it was our first vacation in Belgium). We didn't like Blankenberge as a town, as there are at least ten-storey apartment blocks lined up next to the beach for kilometers and the pedestrian zone has little flair.Käännetty automaattisesti.

It can get quite loud near the mobile homes, because these people are not considerate. Loud music and partying into the morning. The site is conveniently located for cycling tours and the center... of Blankenberge is also not far away. What we didn't like at all was the hot water management in the sanitary facilities. Money is charged for every drop. Showers €1, single wash cubicles and washbasins €0.50 and even for washing up you have to pay €0.50Käännetty automaattisesti.
