Stopped for dinner today in the off-season with a large German-Luxembourg hiking group. The 4 different pre-ordered menus were served quickly and accurately. All the participants praised the quality of the food, which was offered at a group price. Special requests and repeat orders were met immediately. A successful evening. If the place wasn't in my village, I would feel at home there as a tourist. Interesting price, no frills, clean sanitary facilities. Good connections by free public transport to the Müllerthal hiking area, castles, palaces, towns and museums.
The village of Reisdorf itself offers nothing.
Campsite restaurant geared towards Dutch guests.

The pitches are large to very large and fresh water and waste water are always close by.
You have to walk your dog up the... road, but you can get there very quickly.
Unfortunately, the showers are a bit cramped and if you're not careful with the washing machine, or assume what is displayed, a normal wash cycle costs €8.

On arrival we were told with a smile that the pitch would be mowed very quickly - said and done, it was already nice and clear.
During the flood, everything was under water - but with a lot of effort, the crew got everything back in order in no time - great performance.
W-LAN... = free, but a little slow. However, with the good connections via mobile radio, this no longer plays a significant role.
Showers - just use them and don't ask for stupid shower tokens or anything else.
Electricity included, i.e. no tedious reading of consumption and waiting for a bill.
We were able to transfer the invoice amount in advance and just waved goodbye in the morning when we left.

If you're looking for great entertainment, entertainment programs and a "sociable atmosphere", you've certainly come to the wrong place. Instead, this campsite scores with cleanliness, friendliness,... helpfulness, tranquillity, flair and beautiful nature. We actually wanted to move on again because it was a weekend of festivities and marches and all kinds of cheering and hustle and bustle in the city and the campsite seemed overcrowded. We had traveled all over France on our Piaggio tricycles and were now on our way back to northern... Germany. However, a friendly gentleman offered us a site right at the entrance to the campsite, which we gladly accepted. The nice gentleman was the "boss" and we were the first "tricyclists" who wanted to spend the night on the site. We had hardly parked our Piaggio's and set up the rear tents when a large number of nice "curious" people "surrounded" our vehicles. They had never seen a meadow-green and an egg-yellow tricycle before. We were happy to answer all kinds of questions and photography was always allowed. It was a great time on this site. Even the boss took a small series of photos of us and our tricycles. Maybe a few pictures will appear on the site's homepage.
