- Roger B.May 2019PositiivisetThe good location. Very dog friendly.NegatiivisetThe restaurant is closed from 8pm. Sad. Sanitary dirty. at 10 o'clock there are no more rolls. Also rejected unfriendly on requestSmall pitches, poor sanitary facilities. We stayed at the campsite over Ascension Day. We really liked the location. Less good is the size of the pitches. The sanitary facilities are horrible. There is hardly any water coming out of the showers, you have to hug the wall to take a shower. Incidentally, this is the case in all shower cubicles.Käännetty automaattisesti.

- Marlies U.August 2018PositiivisetNear the beach, bicycle toursNegatiivisetunfriendly staff, many dogs, only Dutch children's entertainment, staff do not speak GermanCampsite with remediable weaknessesWe stayed at this campsite for seven days as campers with a 7m caravan. We are 57, 43 and 2 years old. The campsite is very close to the beach. Just cross the cycle path or the thoroughfare to the public parking lot and the campsite or vacation home park, up the 40 steps over the dunes, down 20 steps... to the beach, and you're there ;-) . The pitches are really narrow for WWs of this size and great skill and dexterity are required when parking the WW. (On departure, you are allowed to leave the campsite in the opposite direction to the one-way street, otherwise it is not possible to leave due to the narrowness and width of the street). This must be organized by blocking the cars entering the campsite at the one-way street entrance. The problem is that there is a parking lot every 10 m along the entire length of the road, from which a car can turn into the one-way street at any time. If the partner at the top has been given the OK to leave by cell phone, that doesn't mean that a car won't come towards you on the way, as you can't block four parking lot exits and the entrance at the end at the same time. However, we were most annoyed by the unfriendliness of the staff at this campsite. I'll write it the way I and, after asking personally, other German campers found it: As a German camper, you have a very, very hard time with the children's entertainment. In the mornings around 10am there is arts and crafts entertainment for the children. German queries from the staff (if you are not completely ignored) are answered very unfriendly or not at all. Even explanations with the hands, such as opening and closing scissors with the index and middle fingers, are simply not understood. This is more than annoying and makes you feel completely unwanted. This behavior led to success and our 2.5 year old child didn't want to go on the third day. The children's entertainment and songs are exclusively in Dutch. There are no German children's songs or entertainment for the German children present. The biggest joke was a Dutch announcement that there were now also songs for the German children and that these songs were English chart hits. This feeling was confirmed to us by other German campers. So we can also make fun of ourselves. Last year, our child fell in love with Koos the Roompot mascot at Hof Domburg. Unfortunately, our dwarf was bitterly disappointed here too. In the afternoon at 5pm, "Koos" was always quickly gone again after dancing. When cuddling with "Koos", it was not possible to press "Koos" a second time, with about 20 children! With the last child, "Koos" was already on the retreat. Another major criterion: the 17-hour animation takes place in the blazing sun. Setting up three or four sunshades would be a simple solution so that the children don't have to stand in these unbearable rays of sunshine. But this would also require a "will". Unfortunately, there are long and sturdy thorny branches at toddler height on the larger playground and on the pitch. A broken swing animal, which was reported by another vacationer two weeks ago, is still broken and not locked in the playground. The sanitary facilities are cleaned every weekday morning from 6.00 am. The cleaning is done side by side. When the ladies' side is being cleaned, the men's side is used and vice versa. The facilities are a bit outdated, but efforts are made to keep them clean. The water pressure in the showers is a disaster and after a day on the beach with long hair, it is almost impossible to wash the sand out of your hair or to wash the sand off even the hard-to-reach parts of your body, transition buttocks, thighs. No, I am not fat! I'm 1.63m tall and weigh 50kg! (A tip: the last men's shower, right at the back of the sink, has the best water pressure of all). As a dog lover, this is the place to be for your four-legged friend. Dog owners are now solely responsible for the dog excrement left on the campsite, the dunes and the beach. In conclusion, the price-performance ratio is not appropriate for us! Compared to the Roompot sites Hof Domburg, Roompot Beach Resort and Roompot De Baanjard, this campsite and the children's entertainment are a farce.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Wolfgang G.June 2018PositiivisetClose to the beachNegatiivisetOlder but clean sanitary facilitiesDog-friendly campsite behind the dunesNot easy to find, flat spot west of Vlissingen. Our satnav gave us the wrong directions. Most of the pitches are shady under trees and therefore have problems with satellite reception. They are equipped with electricity, water and drainage. The car is parked separately. The approx. 70 to 80 square meter... plots bordered by bushes are therefore sufficient. Longer vehicles over 9 m will have problems. The sanitary facilities are somewhat older but clean. The large number of campers with dogs is striking. The beach can be reached quickly by crossing the cycle path and using the steps over the dyke. You can shop in the camping store or in the Spar 300 m away. A visit to the market in Middelburg is also recommended. All in all, a recommendable pitch for which we paid €19 per night with Acsi incl. local taxes.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Petra R.June 2017Positiiviset- close to the beach - beautiful cycle pathNegatiiviset- somewhat small seatsEscape the daily grind for a short time...The CP is very well located if you want to go hiking, cycling, swimming or just relax. You can get to the beach, which is also very clean, in no time at all. There is a restaurant on the campsite which we didn't try as there is a very nice restaurant on the beach with a wonderful view of the sea. The... pitches are not the largest but all have well-kept lawns. The sanitary facilities are also clean and sufficient for the size of the site. Small children also get their money's worth, as there is entertainment. It is also practical that you get the barrier card sent home with all the information including the pitch number after paying approx. 14 days in advance. So there is no need to register and wait a long time to check in - we will definitely visit this site again.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Hubert J.September 2016Positiiviset- close to the sea - great cycle paths - short distances to Zoutelande and VlissingenNegatiiviset- you should generally be dog friendly andJust behind the dunesWe've been here five times in total, at different times in the early and late season, most recently in 2116 for 11 weeks. Unfortunately, this year will be the last time with a late summer pitch for 2 months, as the operator is planning to only put up chalets.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Ulrike T.June 2016PositiivisetLocationNegatiivisetPrice-performance ratio Sanitary facilitiesPrice not reasonableThe location of the campsite is ok, as is the local catering. But: the price-performance ratio is not! Especially as the simple, reasonably clean sanitary facilities for ladies - not only during cleaning times - were of course used by men without being asked. Why is that?Käännetty automaattisesti.

Highly recommended for active vacationers who want to enjoy the proximity to the beach and leisure time with children and dogs.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Julian B.May 2015PositiivisetLocationNegatiivisetCleanliness, price,Price and performance are out of proportionWe stayed at this site for one night at Whitsun and paid a whopping 43 euros! The price is absolutely outrageous for this place. Admittedly, the location is very nice, on a quiet street, a few meters away from the beautiful beach via steps. But apart from that, the site is just not right. Some of the... sanitary facilities are very outdated and none of them are clean. The pitches are relatively small and in poor condition. We have a dog ourselves, but the dogs here are no longer nice. Unleashed dogs and dog excrement everywhere. Zeeland is beautiful, but next time it will certainly be a different site.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- JörgJune 2014PositiivisetClose to the beach, directly on the cycle path to Vlissingen, quiet locationNegatiivisetSeats very small, everything very tight, tight organizationTightly organized spaceSheltered location behind the dune, short walk (via steps) to the beach, great for cyclists. The site is tightly organized with a barrier card, strict opening hours, one-way streets, prohibition signs, notices, etc. Cars have to be parked on the main road, pitches very small - caravan and awning barely... fit. More for pensioners looking for order and peace and quiet. Unsuitable for groups and young people and those looking for at least a little 'freedom' when camping. The wash house is closed for cleaning at peak times. Heineken in the pub 3.80 for 0.5 liters, pizza from 11.00 EUR.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Markus W.August 2013The campsite is very good and clean, the sanitary facilities are in very good condition and are cleaned several times a day. The pitches for motorhomes and tents are spacious and well laid out. The campsite is very well maintained. It is amazing that it is very quiet in the evening and at night with so many guests. I can recommend this campsite with a clear conscience. Best regards and see you again M. WasmerKäännetty automaattisesti.
- Fam. M.July 2012PositiivisetLocation of the squareNegatiivisetFriendliness and cleanliness could be improvedVery nice place for children. The senior citizens next door also liked the place. The connection to the sea is very good. A good food supply near the campsite was guaranteed. Beautiful cycle paths along the coast and a well-kept sandy beach made the stay even more enjoyable.Käännetty automaattisesti.

- Peter D.April 2012NEVER AGAIN ! I was fobbed off in a stroppy and unfriendly manner when I politely asked to be moved. The medical supply store was an imposition. When I asked if we could leave earlier, they replied "You won't get your money back anyway". That wasn't my point at all. All common sense bounced off arrogance. I like going to Holland and we have only had positive experiences ... but NEVER AGAIN Camping Dishoek! If you go there, it's your own fault!Käännetty automaattisesti.

- Sascha H.April 2011We are still at the Dishoek campsite at the moment to spend our Easter vacation. The location is great, the pitches relatively small, but easy to navigate. The beach is around 10 minutes' walk away, the sanitary facilities are "adequate" - no more, no less. The campsite's own supermarket is poorly stocked... and very expensive. The restaurants on site also have very high prices - good news for those who have brought supplies. The average age over Easter is now estimated at 50+, so the atmosphere is correspondingly calm and relaxed - if it weren't for the damn dogs... There is a dog on almost every pitch, yapping, growling and howling from everywhere... Even on the way to the beach and on the beach, which is otherwise very beautiful, you come across the dogs' legacies. very annoying and unsightly! Despite the ban, many owners take their pooches for a walk in the square. Even if you take a bike ride along the beautiful cycle paths along the coast, the unleashed, sometimes very large pooches can run in front of your bike... Conclusion: A very nice place in a very good location but only recommended for hardened dog lovers. We probably won't be coming here again...Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Miriam K.August 2010So let's start with the positives. The location is great. You can quickly get to all the surrounding towns such as Vlissingen or Middelburg by bike. Domburg and the Oosterschelde are also only about 20 minutes away by car. The beach is directly behind the dune. (The walk is a bit difficult for children... and certainly not suitable for older people. The beach is beautiful and also quite clean. There are many large ships sailing quite close to the beach, as the port of Antwerp is quite close. However, the campsite was a horror. The hedges were never trimmed, so you either scratched your car or caravan or the children rode their bikes on the pitch at eye level with the thorns. The playground was also full of garbage, thistles and thorny plants. Most of the pitches are quite small, so sitting outside with a caravan can be a bit tight. The supermarket is stocked with the essentials and you can get fresh bread rolls in the morning (if you're lucky). The restaurant and snack bar are not essential and are quite expensive. However, there are some large supermarkets and restaurants nearby, so you don't have to rely on them. The sanitary facilities were just awful. Even when "freshly cleaned". (Cleaning meant: rinsing toilets, sweeping and distributing toilet paper) it was just dirty. Mold, limescale, cobwebs and just everything nasty. In addition, there are not many opportunities to freshen up or flush. You almost always have to wait to go to the toilet, flush or take a shower. But I think the attached photos speak volumes. The permanent campers on the site were very nice and helpful. Otherwise it was quite noisy, even later in the evening. In addition, the price-performance ratio was not good at all. We paid a good €800 for 2 weeks and you couldn't even send the child to the toilet on its own, firstly because they were too high up and secondly because you always had to look for a clean toilet before you could use it. So to sum up: I'd love to go back to this area, but please choose a different campsite!Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Achim M.July 2010Contrary to the campers who were here in 2009 or earlier, the sanitary facilities on my vacation in July/August 2010 can be described as poor. They were generally only cleaned once a day and this was usually at the time when all the campers were going to shower/wash. During this time, the campers whose... sanitary facilities were being cleaned were directed to the toilets of the opposite sex ;-(. Otherwise the site is in a very nice location, but you have to ask yourself - what more is on offer for the extra money, but everyone should find that out for themselves.Käännetty automaattisesti.
