- Uwe K.August 2022PositiivisetNONENegatiivisetEverything is old...especially the sanitary facilities.Not possible!!!I won't be staying here again, even for a stopover.
The people are all very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately that didn't make up for it.Käännetty automaattisesti. - Erich S.October 2019NegatiivisetThe sanitary facilities are in a catastrophic stateThe place is in a good location for sightseeing and as a place to spend the night. It's a shame that the site has mainly been used for rental accommodation in recent years. The pitches are no longer maintainedKäännetty automaattisesti.
- Konstantin L.September 2019No recommendation at all, sorry! No recommendation!!!Available pitches for campers are only on the very noisy ring road. The washrooms are not only extremely old, but also extremely unclean. According to the cleaning schedule, they were last cleaned 5 days ago. There are mosquito larvae, spiders and dead flies everywhere. No heat regulation of the shower... possible. Toilets are attached to the house wall and separated by wooden walls - also extremely unclean. Rusty pipes everywhere! Available parking spaces for campers are only on the very noisy bypass. - Steffen R.May 2017PositiivisetProximity to the beautiful city of Nîmes.NegatiivisetOld, unappetizing sanitary facilities. No more than moderateFor motorhome drivers, it is really only suitable as a base for a city tour of Nîmes. The location is quite convenient if you drive into the city by car, but for cyclists the journey is life-threatening. Drivers don't know how to deal with cyclists, no bike lanes. The staff at reception were quite cool,... English was not always possible. The sanitary facilities have not been renovated for years and are shabby, and a jet of water is not enough to clean them. The place was quite noisy, lots of tourist groups. The peak of disgust was then an unappetizing legacy in the bushes next to our pitch, whether from humans or dogs we did not want to explore. All in all, not a recommendation, but unfortunately there is no alternative in this area.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Günther M.June 2016PositiivisetNimes - close by, shady and very quiet back seats, friendlinessNegatiivisetStandard price for cyclists and motorhomesGood place for sightseeing in NimesWe were there with the motorhome and could choose the place (off-season)! The site is located on a very busy road. We therefore didn't take the first pitches, which are arranged in a traffic circle, but the ones further away. We had pitch 5 and you couldn't hear anything from the road. Sanitary facilities... ok. Paper available in the toilets. Supply and disposal problem-free; electricity for a fee. The rear pitches are nicely shaded. There is a bus stop for the bus to Nimes, Gare SNCF, from there it is a 5-minute walk along a wide rambla to the arena and the old town. Very friendly reception (French and English), very helpful. In the restaurant in the morning baguette and croissants, how the food is, I do not know. Place is recommended .Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Ferdinand S.May 2016PositiivisetClose to the highway for one-night staysNegatiivisetRestless to noisy due to busy thoroughfare next to the pitch; Almost completely filled with rental accommodation, hardly any space leftNo longer recommendedOpen all year round, due to its convenient location close to the highway, it is often used as an overnight place, which unfortunately causes regular disturbance for holidaymakers every day due to arrivals and departures, whose behavior with regard to consideration can often be improved; part of the site... is located directly on a busy country road and is therefore also very noisy; the sanitary facilities are simple and somewhat older, but work reliably and are cleaned regularly - even in October; there is a small bistro / restaurant next to the reception, but it was only open in the morning until noon; about 2 km in the direction of Nimes you will find a Géant Casino for shopping, which, as is often the case in France, is also open on Sundays and public holidays, at least in the morning; there is WLAN around the reception, free for 30 minutes per day; pitches arranged in circles in the style of round villages, visibly parceled out, electricity, water and sewage in units for two pitches each, sufficiently large. Update 2016: no longer recommended, as almost completely filled with mobile homes.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Gregor B.May 2014PositiivisetnoneNegatiivisetPrices (accommodation, restaurant), noiseFair enough - but too expensiveVery nice site with large trees (shade!), but on a noisy road. The showers are very good, the toilets rather an imposition. The restaurant is relatively expensive in relation to the quality of the pizza - we really recommend eating in town. This campsite is definitely not worth EUR 16.20 per night for one person with a tent and bicycle.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- didi 1.February 2014Due to its location, approx. 6 km from the highway, the site is very convenient for overnight stays. The reception is German-speaking and the staff are very friendly. The pitches are largely laid out in a star shape and are large enough. This guarantees that you can also stay with a trailer over 13m.... The electricity supply is just a few meters away. The fan-shaped nature of the plots ensures a good distance from the neighbors. Nevertheless, I am essentially disappointed. The direct location on a busy arterial road does not allow for a good night's sleep. The toilets are unheated on the outside of the sanitary facilities. Sitting toilets without seats, chemical toilets can be disposed of but not flushed. The water was turned off.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Angelika C.November 2013A very good place to spend the night on the way south you can leave the caravan at the car, at the reception you get a number code for the barrier and can leave the place if you want. Next to it is a busy road, sanitary facilities are old but clean. Toilets are not exactly pleasant outside in November.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Der D.September 2013Reception German speaking and friendly. The allocated pitch was directly on a busy road, but it was no problem to find another one. The site is nicely laid out with hedges, trees, bushes, flowers and a small swimming pool. The sanitary facilities are very basic and outdated. As the toilets are outside, you should watch out for bathing frogs.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Marianne D.July 2012Sandwiched between 3 busy roads, it's hard to sleep. All the more so as from 6.30 a.m. the nursery next door starts playing with the chainsaw. The showers are clean because they're indoors, but the same can't be said for the toilets...Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Theo M.December 2011Very pleasant campsite on the way through France to Spain. Open all year round. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are not heated. The restaurant is also closed in winter. Very good price/performance ratio. A bus stops right next to the reception and runs regularly to the center of the attractive city of Nimes. A visit to the Roman arena alone is worth the trip.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- ines v.July 2011Only spend one night, arrived late, started early next morning. Toilets impossibile, the rest of the camp unknown...Käännetty automaattisesti.
