"Very nice and spacious pitches in the shade - The site is very spacious. The pitches are large enough to easily accommodate large caravans. The whole site is overgrown with grass and has large shady trees. The sanitary facilities could do with renovation, as is often the case in France, but otherwise there is nothing to complain about. The staff are very friendly and campers have free access to the neighboring swimming lake. The site is suitable both as a stopover on the way south and for a few days' stay.

"Nice place to spend the night - We visited the site for one night with our caravan on the way back from Spain. Our impressions: friendly welcome at reception, well-kept pitches on the Saone (partly separated by hedges), small bathing lake with sunbathing lawn, restaurant on site with a view of the Saone, simple but clean showers, outdated toilet facilities in need of renovation. We would visit this quiet site again at any time for a stopover.

" - We used the site for an overnight stay (with a tent) on the way home. The location is beautiful, right on the Saone. Unfortunately you can hear the nearby highway very much!!! It's definitely a plus that campers can use the adjacent bathing lake free of charge! The sanitary facilities are very old. Especially the separate toilets are very old and not clean!

The La Clé de Saône campsite is located on the banks of the Saône, on a recreational lake. This simple three-star campsite has very large pitches on the grass and under the trees. The most beautiful pitches are right on …the river and offer you a magnificent view of the water. Thanks to its location on the Route du Soleil, between Dijon and Lyon, this campsite is ideal for guests travelling through. La Clé de Saône campsite is beautifully situated on the riverbank. The campsite is beautifully green. It consists of various fields with pitches. 160 large touring pitches are available. The many trees provide shade, but you can also opt for a pitch in full sun. In some fields, the pitches are separated by hedges, while others are more open. There is a restaurant next to the campsite, right on the river. The dishes are simple and the choice is limited, but the terrace is a great place to sit by the water. You can also get a drink or an ice cream here. In the morning, you can get fresh bread here, but you have to order it the day before. If you are looking for more variety on the menu, you will find all kinds of restaurants in Crêches-sur-Saône. A small gate at the back of the campsite gives you access to the sandy beach of a beautiful recreational lake. Here you can swim, surf, wakeboard and water ski. The water is clean and pleasantly warm. There are also various facilities: beach showers, a lovely sunbathing area, a jetty, a large water slide and a water ski lift.
