- Martin K.July 2018PositiivisetLocation, attractions, hikingNegatiivisetA little expensive compared to othersGreat location and beautiful placeThe place was absolutely ok, the staff very friendly and the surroundings were very exciting and varied. We liked it there very much, the place is recommendable, but compared to others it was very expensive (because of the location?).Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Mathilde G.March 2018PositiivisetlocationNegatiivisetwrong opening dates ... remember to updateWatch out for the dates! Wrong opening datesWe went there in mid-March only to find that the campsite was closed, which put us to a lot of trouble. Camping extrèmement bien situé mais attention, il n'ouvre que mi-juin... We went mid march at this camping and it was closed ..., the localisation is very pleasant but apparently it opens only mid June, so be careful ...Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Guido F.September 2014PositiivisetGreat location. In the evening, when all the bus tourists have disappeared, you can enjoy the geyser almost on your own.NegatiivisetVery expensive, showers cost extra.Expensive, but beautifully situatedNice place, but it also costs money. Showers cost extra. The site is beautifully laid out and offers many possibilities. If it is very wet, the site may be closed to vehicles. There is also a washing machine.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- an k.August 2014PositiivisetClose to the geyser and hiking opportunitiesNegatiivisetThere are a lot of people visiting the geyser, which dies down in the early morning/eveningDirectly at the geyserThe campsite is only a few meters away from the geyser (which is best enjoyed outside bus tourist times). Sanitary facilities in order (showers cost extra), shopping facilities/gas station available, costs for one night, 2 people in a tent - 3000isk Ideal location to also visit Gullfoss.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Thomas M.May 2014PositiivisetProximity to the geyserNegatiivisetI can't judge the sanitary facilities as they are closed. But the night was free.Closed and yet openWhen we enquired about the campsite at the hotel, they said it was closed but we could still pitch our tent there. We did, but the sanitary facilities were closed and there was no water or electricity. We got water from the nearby restaurant and there were plenty of bushes. The advantage of this site is the proximity to the geyser, which you can really visit on your own early in the morning.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Marius S.August 2012A beautiful campsite and the opportunity to visit Iceland's main attraction on your own (in the evening).Käännetty automaattisesti.
