These pitches have little shade but are closer to the beach.
The shady pitches under pine trees can be found further back.
Several sanitary buildings are equipped with modern facilities and are constantly kept clean.
There is... a beach bar on site where you can get drinks and snacks. At our time, the market probably only offered the bare essentials. However, baguettes and croisants were always available.
The offer in the restaurant was "to forget". Under these circumstances, they could also close it at this time.
There are plenty of opportunities to explore the area by bike and you can get to other beaches with little effort. But you have to "tolerate" the traffic on the roads. Porto Vecchio in particular is around 10 km on a busy road. You will get to know one or two unpleasant contemporaries. But it is doable!
We didn't like the port of Porto Vecchio. A busy road separates the harbor basin from the cafes on the other side. The old town is small, narrow and expensive!Käännetty automaattisesti.

Fairly well organized area, although the signs are not very numerous or clear. There are several toilet bodies, of different ages and quality. The newer ones are nice. Plots sometimes... marked out sometimes not, generally quite small, sometimes unkempt (with overhanging roots, weeds, etc.). Very good market, restaurant and bar, some children's games. All offers closed. Pitches very very small. Sanitary facilities new and clean. There are about 3-5 free dogs on the site itself, which don't leave the cleanest impression. Nevertheless, there were fresh baguettes and croissants in the store every morning. Otherwise, however, the range was very thin towards the end of the season. The campsite is beautifully situated on the Gulf of Porto... Vecchio, directly on a very shallow sandy beach. The beach was cleaned daily and is very child-friendly. The sanitary facilities and the campsite in general were also well cleaned and maintained. The situation regarding wasps and mosquitoes was reasonably bearable.Käännetty automaattisesti.

The reception is very friendly (French / English). There is a restaurant and a small supermarket (limited supply). There is plenty of space for tents and there are electricity connections everywhere. Everyone can choose their own pitch. The sanitary... facilities are extremely clean and are cleaned almost every hour. The direct access to the sea is nice, but there are much nicer beaches in the surrounding area. However, the beach is ideal for families with children. - Kurt M.July 2014Great placeSerious disadvantage: The offer in the small supermarket is not good and the store only opens at 8.30 am, so you have to get your breakfast baguette in about 1km. The bguette on the square is also not particularly recommended. Newspapers are usually not available. The wifi code (free) is valid for 3... hours (would be enough) but was already expired after about 15 minutes. The restaurant on the square has a nice wood-fired pizza oven, but the pizza chef doesn't seem to be very "capable" (soggy pizza) and the service isn't very friendly and sometimes only speaks French. Pizza from €11 is much better a few kilometers away in a great atmosphere. The prices are very high, like everywhere else in Corsica. We did not notice a mosquito plague as described by others. The water in the bay is clean and clear, but of course not as beautiful blue as in the open sea. There is a lot of seaweed in strong winds.Käännetty automaattisesti.

But I really don't know what it's like in the season. We booked 3 pitches at once, which was okay in terms of size. But otherwise the pitches are very small. There are also a lot of little houses and containers. The food in the restaurant... was good, but rather expensive. It was only half full so it was ok but the staff are very slow and so is the pizzaiolo. The beach is clean and beautiful, but the beach for swimming is rather difficult, you have to go out very far until you can no longer stand. The bar was closed from one day to the next, although nobody knew anything and the campsite had been open for more than a week. The days before there was only beer or coffee to drink, everything else was sold out. There was almost nothing left in the grocery store except bread. The washing machines were ok but rather expensive at 6 euros. The sanitary facilities were clean, but rather old. But there weren't many people there.Käännetty automaattisesti.

At 10.00 a.m. the return money of 150 euros could not be handed over to me due to lack of small notes. Had to go shopping first. After a remark that this was unprofessional... and not customer friendly, I was blatantly insulted. At such a volume that everyone within a radius of 100 m turned their heads in the direction of reception. - Tom B.August 2010First of all: If you need electricity, you'd better bring 100m of cable with you, otherwise it could get tight. A very spacious site in a bay, very calm shallow water, so well suited for small children. Also very suitable for campers with boats (slipway available). For mobile home travelers: There are... a few beautifully situated huts right on the beach. The campsite is often visited by youth groups, among others, so it can get quite noisy depending on the location. Overall, however, the campsite looks a bit run-down. There are caravan ruins here and there. The place doesn't really have any charm. It clearly lacks the atmosphere for more than a stopover in the Porto Vechio region. There is also no other infrastructure in the immediate vicinity, so if you want to leave the campsite you will need a car.Käännetty automaattisesti.
