The 2 showers are equipped with a coin-operated machine and one euro is supposed to be used for allegedly 4 minutes of showering. unfortunately after 2 minutes the shower automatically goes on pause and stays there. only after a new coin insertion does it continue for 2 minutes. for this there can be no 5 stars.Käännetty automaattisesti.- Berthold B.September 2016PositiivisetQuietness , Cleanliness , Friendliness , Price performanceNegatiivisetNo towels in the toiletsWe will be backWe were with our dog in mid-September 2016 on this small, quiet place, on arrival we were warmly welcomed, the sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day, the place is very well maintained and clean. It is ideal for campers with dogs, as there is a huge run behind the site and you can always... take your dog with you on walks. In the nearest town of Gingst there are good pubs and restaurants where you are spoiled with regional dishes.The articles in the Edeka supermarket in Gingst are not overpriced, here you get everything, even camping accessories, from here you can quickly reach the excursion destinations on Rügen, as in all of Mekpom, the Baltic Sea coast has remained a lot of nature, so little has been changed, although many tourists spend their vacations here. We were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. As the site was not fully booked, we were allowed to choose a pitch. The friendly owner helped us to position the caravan correctly and the subsequent registration... was very easy. The wash house is newly built and we also found the sanitary facilities to be very clean. We also really liked the bread roll service. We liked it very much. Nice site managers who are helpful in all matters. The sanitary facilities were first class (very clean and modern) and sufficient for the few pitches. If you are looking for peace and quiet and don't need to be in crowded places right by the sea, this is an absolute insider tip. But dangerous cycling and walking. From the campsite you can walk to the village or cycle or walk through the grass field along the road to the village. On the road is driven very fast (80 km). In village a good grocery... store. Museum. Restaturants. Camping has clean and nice sanitary facilities. When you drive up you will find equal lane for campers / caravans and you can find more space on lawn in back field. In our time all many Dutch people. Is a SVR-camping. Also had to thicken to accommodate all campers. From the campsite is much to visit in the area. There are plenty of bicycle routes. Within a 30 / 40 km you can find all the tourist "highlights" from this campsite. They know bread service.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Christian M.July 2013We booked for 4 nights from Sunday to Thursday. On arrival we were greeted very warmly and then taken to our pitch. Our first impression " small but nice " was confirmed during the 5 days. It is very clean and the emphasis is not on quantity but on quality so that everyone has enough space. There is... also a small playground and a soccer field for children, but it was still very quiet there. The owners were always eager to help the guests, e.g. bread service etc. and always had an open ear for questions. - Sabine R.July 2013We were guests at the Haidhof in 07/2013. A cozy little very well-kept campsite with a family atmosphere. Beautifully situated - lovingly maintained. Small - but very nice! We received a friendly welcome and had the feeling that we were welcome. We were there for 3 days (camper van, 2 adults and 2 dogs).... The CP is located in front of the village of Gingst - a nice bike/footpath leads to the village 500m away - in the beautiful village there are grocery stores, ATM, beer garden, a small "amusement park" and a great restaurant on the market square. The village also has very good bus connections. Cycling is also no problem, although there are no specially designated cycle paths in some places, so you have to cycle on the (main) road. Gingst is located on the quieter western side of Rügen. The east side of Rügen (Binz, Prosa), on the other hand, was extremely crowded and very busy when we were there. If you are looking for relaxation, you are better off on the west side. However, the nicer beaches are on the east side. The sanitary facilities on the campsite were very clean - everything was available - but there were only 2 showers - but as the campsite was not "overcrowded", this was not a problem! In the morning there was a nice bread roll service !!! The prices were really okay! We paid a total of around 65 euros for 3 nights with camper van, 2 adults, 2 dogs, shower vouchers and bread rolls... I didn't think that was much for the great region. Conclusion: A lovely campsite to relax - we'd love to come again !!!!!Käännetty automaattisesti.
