"Ok- but more expected - We are used to ADAC top pitches, this one disappointed us. A lot of money for a big, old campsite without a beach. There are certainly better places.

"beautiful place under palm trees - We (2 adults and 2 children 9 and 13) spent a week here and felt very comfortable We had a pitch in the Meditterraneo category (close to the beach). The sanitary area is getting on in years but clean, it is cleaned throughout. Pitches in the bar and beach bar area can be louder. The train line is no longer active. The drive through the former railroad underpass is adventurous, especially for wide and long caravans.

"Very beautiful, green and very shady grounds with palm trees - We stayed at this campsite in August 2019. We were in the second row to the sea, near the beach bar (very good bands were guests) with a large tent. We have now seen a few campsites in Europe. This one is a really very green campsite with lots of shade provided by the many palm trees. There is also a supermarket with a bakery, hairdresser, bars, restaurants, take-away and souvenir stores - everything you need. The pool area is really beautiful, but unfortunately always very crowded. We therefore used the nearby and really beautiful beach. It is cleaned every morning! By the way: the train passing through didn't bother us. You could hardly hear it. Apart from that, the location is brilliant between the larger tourist towns (Salou etc.) to have some hustle and bustle. Barcelona and Valencia can be reached quickly by car and Tarragona is also worth a trip. We will be back! But then one pitch further away from the beach bar.

"Great place at an acceptable price - We stayed at the campsite for 2 weeks last year. We had booked a Grand Comfort pitch. We arrived at the campsite at 23.00 in the evening. Despite the reception being closed, we were asked to drive onto the site. However, as we didn't want to disturb the other campers at that time of night, we stayed overnight in front of the barrier. In the morning, we were allowed to go straight to our booked pitch. The staff were very helpful and helped us to push the caravan straight onto the pitch. We were close to the beach bar and were really glad we weren't standing right next to it. Live music is played there regularly. However, it closes at 11 p.m. sharp and it immediately becomes quiet on the pitch. The supermarket is well stocked and the prices were not overpriced. The pool area is very nice and well maintained. It was a pity that extra areas such as the children's pool are not open all the time and can only be used for a few hours a day. A few years ago we stayed at the neighboring playa montroig, which has one more star, but in our opinion is not necessarily one star better. The sanitary facilities are no longer the most modern, but they were always clean. We were very satisfied and will prefer this site to playa montroig in the future. It is a lot more expensive, but not necessarily better.

La Torre del Sol campsite is located right on the golden beaches of the Costa Daurada – one of the most beautiful coastlines in Spain. Besides relaxing days at the beach, the region also offers numerous opportunities for day trips to cultural highlights. Whether you prefer to travel with your own camping equipment or a camper van, or would rather stay in luxury accommodation, La Torre del Sol campsite has something for everyone. The spacious pitches are surrounded by Mediterranean plants such as palm and olive trees, creating a relaxed and idyllic atmosphere. Some pitches are so close to the sea that they are only separated from the beach by a narrow strip of greenery – as close as you can get! For those who like a little more comfort, there are chalets, lodge tents and the unique stone house ‘El Maset’ with a rustic outdoor fireplace. The extensive water park at Camping La Torre del Sol is a highlight for the whole family and makes this campsite a real wellness resort. Nestled among palm trees, there is a large swimming pool with plenty of space for splashing, swimming or relaxing. There is a paddling pool for younger guests, while adults can enjoy the huge hot tub that winds like an elegant snake through the surrounding trees. There is plenty on offer for sports enthusiasts too: diving courses, aqua fitness and fun water games are organised – fun and exercise for all ages! Those seeking even more relaxation should visit the beautiful thermal baths very close to the pool. Every camping enthusiast knows how important it is to find everything on holiday, especially when it comes to the right diet or clothing. If you need a supermarket or a grocery store, you don't have to leave the campsite. The campsite has always been a place that invites everyone to exchange ideas and socialise.
