"Beautiful place on the Loire - The site is stretched out between the road and the banks of the Loire. There is a small restaurant including baguette service. There is infrastructure in the village, including restaurants, so we were able to eat very well there. Despite the proximity to the road, it was not noisy. We used the campsite as a starting point for cycling tours. The site was still quite busy in mid-September, so it was important to arrive early.

" - Nice campsite facing Loire friendly staff. With clean pool, clean toilets, small restaurant only in the evening but nothing exceptional. There is the bike path that leads to the town of Montsoreau in 2 minutes Negative note very taxing we were a group of 15 campers and they did not accept we arrived at 4 pm and left at 4 pm the next day, we had to pay 2 nights by necessity

In the Loire Valley, on the banks of the majestic river, in the heart of the Valley of the Kings, between Tours and Angers, lies the Ile Verte campsite in the Loire Valley. This campsite in Montsoreau invites you to …discover the fascinating mix of culture, history and magnificent landscapes that the Loire has to offer, while you stroll between vineyards and listed villages. The campsite has 114 pitches (87 pitches, 18 mobile homes and 9 eco-lodges on an area of 2.2 hectares), just 100 metres from the centre of Montsoreau. You can stay on one of our spacious pitches for tents, caravans or motorhomes. Or you may prefer the comfort of our luxury lodge tents with a view of the Loire and our spacious, ultra-modern mobile homes. The campsite swimming pool is a great place to take a quick dip. The size of the pool also allows you to swim laps. Enjoy the sun on the sun loungers around the pool. Peaceful and ideally located, Isle Verte campsite in the Loire Valley is just a stone's throw from the shops and the Sunday market in Monstoreau, making it the perfect stopover for cyclists. In fact, it is located on the Loire à Vélo, a cycle path that runs along the river. At our campsite in Saumur, you will find accommodation specially designed for cyclists, such as our bivouac tents. The campsite has a cosy restaurant where guests can enjoy delicious salads, sandwiches, pizzas and meat dishes. The adjoining terrace invites you to linger. Once a week, there is live music in the restaurant. Wine tastings are sometimes organised at the campsite. In the high season, the entertainment team organises all kinds of fun activities. L'ISLE VERTE is suitable for people with limited mobility and has access ramps to the bar, restaurant and reception.
