"Small but nice - Small campsite, reservation required in summer as it is fully booked. Pitches partly shady, partly sunny, beautiful trees, slight slope on the pitches but mostly flat. Sanitary facilities to southern French standards, very clean. Very friendly operators, great catering. Small pool + toddler pool, small playground. Playground could be expanded a bit, e.g. lacks a sandpit and climbing equipment for schoolchildren. Beautiful surroundings, a little off the beaten tourist track on the coast. Nevertheless, a short walk to the sea and the beautiful Carmargue. Montpellier (a modern city) is not far away, Niemes is also close if you like antiquity. The prices of the campsite are very reasonable.

" - The new owners are super nice and very close to their customers. Nice atmosphere, great entertainment, very well guided to visit this beautiful region full of richness. We can't wait to go back this summer 2012.

The L'Olivier campsite in the heart of the Gard is located in the typical village of Junas, between Nîmes and Montpellier in the south of France . It is the ideal place for your holiday in the Gard, near the …Camargue and the Cévennes. Come and enjoy it! Your family campsite with swimming pool welcomes you to the south of France, just outside Sommières and Nîmes. The campsite L'Olivier is located 300 metres from the village, close to Sommières and a multitude of major tourist sites in the Gard: the Pont du Gard, the arenas of Nîmes, the Bambouseraie, Aigues Mortes, the Haribo Museum and the Cevennes railway, the Camargue... Nature and bike lovers will be delighted by the greenway, which is 400 metres from the campsite, and the numerous marked trails in Junas. The 3-star campsite l'Olivier offers mobile home rentals in the Gard, as well as chalets and bungalows, ideal for a holiday with family or friends in the south of France. All pitches are located in the shade of the campsite's olive trees. Our campsite is located 400 metres from the village of Junas and 5 km from Sommières, where you can go cycling on the greenway that passes near the L'Olivier campsite. We offer pitches with electricity (6A or 10A) or without electricity. Treat yourself to a refreshing break by our outdoor pool! Discover our water area for pleasant family moments in and out of the water. Children can have fun in the water as they please, between water games and swimming. We offer you a variety of activities to make your holiday fun and sociable. Near our swimming area is our play area with activities such as mini golf, table football, trampoline or even a swing. Not to be forgotten is our pétanque court, an essential sport in the south. Both adults and children enjoy the adapted games and have a great time together. Camping Olivier offers you a snack-restaurant area where you can eat with your family and meet up over a good meal. We offer pizzas, burgers, paninis, salads and children's menus.
