We were greeted very politely and nicely at reception. The site is in a very quiet location and very suitable for excursions of all kinds. The sanitary facilities were always very clean. Very quiet despite being close to the main road. We had a lovely pitch right by the stream.
The site is well maintained and well organized. The bread roll service in the morning is optimal.
Unfortunately, no floor carpeting is allowed. That's... okay with a nice dense meadow. However, the ground does not have a closed sward but consists of about 50% sand. This made it impossible to get into the caravan in wet weather without bringing in sand.
The sanitary facilities are clean and relatively new. But there is only one unisex toilet block! We have been camping for 35 years. We have never experienced this, even on the simplest sites in southern Europe. Our pitch was big enough. Electricity and TV connection were available. It was not far to the very modern and very clean sanitary facilities. All the staff were very friendly.
The city of Meißen is about 3.5km away via the Elbe cycle path and the center of Dresden is about 23km away. Even the first contact with the owner's son (perhaps he is now the boss?!) was very pleasant and relaxed. Unfortunately, we were very close to our neighbors (despite asking about the size of the caravan when booking), which may have been due to the short notice,... next time I would try to get a different pitch. I felt a bit stressed by the 10pm closing time of the washroom/showers. There are few campsites that have this and if I were asked I would probably do away with it ;-)

The sanitary facilities are clean and with hot water.
The camper kitchen has almost everything (kettle, coffee maker, stove, oven ...). There are also dishes. We've never seen anything like it, even though we've been camping for 10 years.
