- Martin S.August 2022PositiivisetVery open campsite, close to the beach, sea visibleNegatiivisetThe site is in the upper price segment for Danish campsites. On Mön, however, it is one of the cheapest. This means that Mön is generally not a cheap place to stay.Natural campsite without pitchesThe hosts are very friendly and uncomplicated. You drive onto the pitch and someone comes by in the afternoon or the next morning and makes a note of how long you want to stay.
However, the campsite is no longer an insider tip and so it can happen that the beautiful spots are already full.
The beach... is suitable for all types of water sports.
A festival is held regularly in August. The site is not available then. The times of the festival are published on the homepage.Käännetty automaattisesti. - Doris S.July 2022Positiivisetuncomplicated - free choice of pitch - direct proximity to the Baltic Sea - quiet location - small store available for the essentials, including coffee and draught beerNegatiiviset17 km to the nearest supermarket in StegeBeautiful natural campsitenice uncomplicated operation - quiet location - directly by the sea - simple wash houseKäännetty automaattisesti.
- Anke B.August 2021PositiivisetCamping directly on the beach Beautiful beach Very dedicated, friendly operatorsNegatiivisetNo reservation possible, arrive, drive on, choose your pitch. Sanitary facilitiesDanish beach camping, pure nature, simple, relaxed, unconventional. We stopped here for 4 days on our way back from Sweden. No reservation possible, just arrive, drive up and choose your pitch. There are no real pitches, you just park wherever there is space, you may just need a longer power cable. In the evening, someone will come by and check you in. You then get a... number which you hang on your caravan in a clearly visible place.
It's all pretty relaxed. We were standing half in the dune in the sand at the beach to the sea. Just cross the dune and you're at the sea. The sea on the corner of the beach was very nice for swimming. Dogs are allowed everywhere, but always remember...take all their droppings back with you.
You can order bread rolls at reception. The sanitary facilities were clean, but the disposal system took some getting used to. The showers were in individual cubicles and were nice and big. There is a small playground and a few non-motorized vehicles as well as 2 SUP boards for hire. The small harbor is a few minutes' walk away. Be sure to visit the chalk cliffs and take one of the beautiful hiking trails away from the visitor center, for example from the parking lot above the campsite. From the campsite you can cycle along quiet paths.Käännetty automaattisesti. - Conny H.July 2017PositiivisetQuiet, nice people, space not so bigNegatiivisetPrice is a little too high.Beautiful placeWe were there with the motorhome and stood just behind the dunes. The owners were very friendly and helpful and everything was clean. A walk to the small harbor is definitely worth it, we went through the vacation home settlement and back along the beach.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Uffe P.June 2017PositiivisetWonderful location. Quiet space. Good water sports opportunities. Good cycling opportunities on Møn. Walks along the beach are super.NegatiivisetStaff. Have rarely experienced more unfriendly service, despite several years of traveling as nomads throughout Europe.Negative experience8 viewpoints blocked for no particular reason. No one came at Pentecost. When asked by phone before arrival, it was thought that it was no problem to get a vantage point, and no reservation number was noted. In practice, there was only one pitch with a view. The rest were blocked off. Somewhat inflexible... check-out procedure. Nothing about dropping the toilet key in the mailbox outside the rather limited opening hours. Finally, the water in the toilets is very high, which can be very uncomfortable for some men.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Karl F.July 2016Great place with totally unfriendly ownersIt's a shame that the site owners obviously think they have to spoil the otherwise good impression on holidaymakers with their totally unfriendly behavior. Helpfulness: completely absent. We were traveling by bike and have never experienced anything like it.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Schorsch R.August 2015PositiivisetBeautiful beach locationNegatiivisetUnfriendly operators. Very expensive prices for camping.Unfriendly, expensive, hostile to childrenWe only arrived at this campsite after 8pm due to a bike breakdown. At the reception, my 11-year-old nephew was immediately reprimanded by the operator that it should be quiet. Furthermore, my 8-year-old niece should not even think of running around the campsite. When we were preparing our evening meal... in the kitchen, which was far away from the pitches, shortly before 10 p.m. due to our late arrival after setting up the tent, the operator came at 10 p.m. to inform us in a completely presumptuous and unfriendly manner about the night's rest from 10 p.m. onwards. We had politely explained to him that we had arrived late, whereupon he left us with the threat of turning off the electricity in 15 minutes. At 10:15 p.m. sharp, the electricity was turned off, so that we had to finish eating in the dark with three children. This campsite is very expensive, even by Danish standards, and the standard is rather poor. We paid 70 euros for an overnight stay with bicycles and two small tents for three children and two adults. There is an additional charge for the showers. If you have the opportunity, you should give this expensive and unfriendly campsite a wide berth.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- NJ Z.August 2015PositiivisetThe situationNegatiiviset- Poor price-performance ratio - Very unfriendly ownersExpensive campsite with very unfriendly German owners! We stayed at the campsite with a tent (for two people) and paid over 40 euros for one night. The location of the campsite is actually very good, but the mood was quickly dampened by the unfriendly reception of the campsite owners.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Michael D.August 2015PositiivisetIf you know how to behave, you'll soon be a regular guest! Cleanliness and peace and quiet.NegatiivisetA little off the main roads, hence the peace and quiet.Believe me, I'll be back! For sure !2005, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, quiet campsite. Nice, German-speaking site operator. If you love water, this is the place for you. Also ideal for cycling. The catering is not so rosy, you can get it in the next village. But a bread roll service is available. As a camper with a VW bus, I always felt... well looked after. Twice for 14 days at a time and several times for 1 or 2 days on the outward and return journey from Sweden. I prefer the green meadow, right next to the road, where there is virtually no traffic, so I was often alone. Absolute peace and quiet! I can only confirm this impression again for 2013, for 2 wonderful days! People, don't be put off by negative reviews! If you are friendly and know how to behave, you will be welcomed here with open arms and experience wonderful days! Also for 2014, for 4 days, confirmation in all points! Also in 2015, for 2 days each time, I was welcomed kindly and friendly. I now know CPs that I can no longer drive past.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Matthias T.July 2014PositiivisetWonderful place, full of nature.NegatiivisetAn unhappy woman who spoils the mood of the guests.Nice place, unfortunately the owner does not understand that guests are on vacation. We stayed at this very nice place twice in the 90s. The boss is also quite ok, but the boss simply didn't understand that her guests were on vacation. We were constantly grumbled at for little things. Obviously that's why some of the reviews in the profile are fake.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Frank K.July 2014Positiivisetis beautifully situated on the waterNegatiivisetunfriendly operator noisy due to vacation home many mosquitoesUnfriendly receptionAfter a very strenuous bike ride, I finally found the campsite and wanted to check in in a good mood, but was greeted in a totally unfriendly and dismissive manner. When I tried to pitch the tent, I was immediately warned by a female camper about the campsite manager and her strictness. The campsite... is very beautiful and idyllic. However, the peace and quiet was over early in the morning, as there was obviously a children's holiday home right next door. There's nothing wrong with that, of course, but it's good to know about it. Mosquitoes were very numerous and thirsty.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Rüdiger K.May 2014Positiivisetgreat location directly on the Baltic Sea Quiet place on a beautiful meadow Starting point for exciting bike tours beautiful beachNegatiivisetno real disadvantage, supermarket approx. 6 km awayQuiet campsite on a beautiful meadow directly on the Baltic SeaYou'll find Vestmøn campsite on the southern tip of the island of Møn, right by the Baltic Sea. In other words, the pitches extend right up to the small dunes and the beach! The site consists of a large meadow with scattered trees and bushes (see photo). Very pretty to look at! And as I said, it's only... a few meters and you're on the beach and by the sea! My travel time was at the beginning of May 2014 and I was actually the only(!) visitor to Camping Vestmøn. This was probably due to the mixed weather (even the occasional permanent campers didn't show up) or the early time of year. In any case, it was not due to this beautiful site. The owner couple were nice and helpful and kept the campsite in good condition with a lot of commitment. The sanitary facilities etc. were all OK. In addition to a relaxing stay on the camping meadow and on the beach, Camping Vestmøn is the starting point for walks and bike tours. I can recommend, for example, the cycle tour to the megalithic tombs, most of which are very easy to cycle along the small roads with little traffic. ... As mentioned in the previous article, where there is a lot of peace and nature, there is a slight "lack" of infrastructure. You just have to know that. In the high season, you can get the essentials at the small kiosk at reception (bread service, drinks, etc.). The nearest Dagli Brugsen is about 6 km away. You have to plan your shopping a little, but this shouldn't be a big problem. For "bulk shopping" you can also drive to the island capital Stege. Stege is only 16 km away, but you can find everything you need for your vacation here. The island's main attraction (Møns Klint) is also around 30 km away, but this distance is no problem at all by car. You also drive through a beautiful landscape. Conclusion: I really liked Camping Vestmøn, as it is in a very beautiful location. If you're looking for peace and nature, you're in good hands here. Life is not "humming" here, but relaxation is the motto of the site! If you like that, you should go to Camping Vestmøn ... and another tip ... grab your camping chair in the evening and sit down in the evening sun on the dune with a wonderful view over Grønsund :-))))Käännetty automaattisesti.

- non-camping camping -.July 2012Fantastic camping ground for all campers who dont like the "my van, my tent, my garden" campgrounds. Real nature, very quite, no swimming pool, no restaurant and other unnecessary things. We will be back!Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Michael K.July 2011Very nice place with an international audience. Very nice campsite operators. Dogs no problem, not even on the beach. Very quiet location with no infrastructure nearby, but that's OK. We have been there several times and will go again.Käännetty automaattisesti.
