Those looking for peace and quiet should reconsider their choice of pitch. Everything is available in abundance, which is very positive. The check-in on the lawn is an imposition. The campsite may not be entered and the facilities cannot be used during the waiting time. Understandable for waiting times of 2-8 hours but not for 24 hours. In June we had a pitch with a caravan and our dog Pepe and now in September a Rex Lodge! As always to emphasize is that ALL employees (from reception to bar / restaurant to cleaning staff simply all) are always friendly... and always have a smile on their lips no matter what time of day! The service is top notch and the cleanliness deserves a 1++++++. The Rex Lodge was simply beautiful! We feel really comfortable and in good hands here and enjoy spending our vacation here!
We will definitely see you next year and are already looking forward to it!

We were very happy with all the staff, with the exception of the lifeguards. In the... swimming pool, rules are not enforced, especially in the swimmers' pool, and queuing for the slides depends on the respective nationality. Children operate the traffic lights on the slide and have unfortunately caused dangerous situations. I think the RTL 2 series has lowered the standard of the place. (Party, etc.). Otherwise the rules are less controlled than in recent years. (Noise, bicycles in the pedestrian zone, midday rest) Reservations are always difficult, as a regular guest only counts if you have been on the same pitch number for 15 years and then you get a preference when making a reservation. The cleanliness of the pool has unfortunately deteriorated in recent years. I always enjoyed going to the marina myself as a child and my children also think it's great. By the way, the renovation of wash house 3 and 6 has been a success. And it's great that you've also thought of the slightly older children with the basketball court on the beach.Negatiiviset"Your opinion really counts. For us, you, our guests, are the soul of our Camping Village!" NO, dear Marina team, the guests are not the soul of your Camping Village. Because if they were, - I would not have to make my reservation on 11.12.2023 at 9 a.m. with 2 computers in parallel for security reasons, just to decide within 10 seconds on one of the few remaining free pitches and to be able to enter the credit card details without a system crash - my 550 euro reservation deposit would be worth the money after 8 months (keyword interest vs. 20 euro processing fee) - the link in the e-mail for electronic check-in would also work and not lead nowhere - I wouldn't have to be spoken to unkindly at reception because I arrive in the evening before check-in due to the traffic and then have to look for a waiting place somewhere on the street with my caravan just because Marina doesn't open its waiting area and admission is only allowed from 3 pm (those who don't make a reservation have a clear advantage, at least when waiting) - the WLAN would at least work so that you could check in on site without having to open a technical support case in the information office - not even the smallest groundsman would behave as if he owned the campsite (the self-appointed holidaymaker "block wardens" who keep a 50cm distance from my (!!) pitch are enough for me) - if the site wardens not only took care of the details when setting up the campsite, but also showed more consideration for other holidaymakers (noisy gatherings until well after 11:30 pm, bar tables for the noisy annual get-togethers (hiss-clack), chain smokers, loud air conditioning units, open fires in the barbecue, etc.) - if I didn't have the feeling that the price of gas has fallen so low in Italy because I can now burn myself in the shower without any problems (I'm already predicting the new pitch prices for next year) - would you rather add the long outdated lunch break to the cool night's rest so that you can sleep longer than 7 hours? - the gardeners and technicians would not mow the lawn or clean the pool area with a high-pressure cleaner from 07:30 (and finally buy a new mobile lawnmower that the gardener can use without hearing protection) - the entertainment team wouldn't turn up the music so loud and shout until their voices cracked - people wouldn't have to shout at each other in the evening during the stage show in the ice cream parlor opposite in order to have a conversation - the motto for the entertainment would be "less is more" rather than "another underground quiz show" (regardless of whether it is raining or "DJ on the beach" is already playing on the beach, there is entertainment at all costs) - we wouldn't have to destroy what little relaxation we had on the day of departure, because everything has to be ready to go in about 3 hours, just to leave the campsite by 11 a.m. at the latest - if Marina hadn't opened Pandora's box with "Bella Italia" and brought the Ballermann to Punta Sabbioni (hiss-clack, hiss-clack, hiss-clack, no matter where you are) - I wouldn't feel like I had to go on vacation after my "vacation" because I would be completely overtired and drugged up (not to mention the heat, but that's why we come to Italy).It gets worse from year to yearThanks for the cookies at the ticket office, but I really think it's time to look elsewhere. Thank you for spending your vacation with us again and again for the past 15 years. As you will have noticed, we strive to improve our campsite every year and will continue to do so in the future. We plan our investments carefully, but also add priorities based on the comments of our guests.... We are sorry that you have a negative view of our development and believe that we do not care about our guests' opinions. Last year we changed our booking system, which unfortunately led to some difficulties. Despite this, thousands of guests were able to book successfully. We continue to work with the developer to improve the system based on guest feedback. Due to many requests, we have extended the reservable area and will add another 100 pitches. Nevertheless, we would also like to maintain a free area for spontaneous guests. In the main holiday season, as you correctly point out, there can be waiting times, and at full capacity we also reach our capacity limits.
Our site managers make every effort to enforce the camping rules, but consideration among campers also plays an important role. It's a shame that your vacation has suffered as a result. The noise level at certain events has also been reported to us by guests and operators and we have discussed appropriate measures with the entertainment team. Our activities are designed to be entertaining but not disruptive.
Although your review was average, we thank you for taking the time to share your impressions, both positive and negative. We had a very central pitch and quite short distances to Aquamarina Park, the beach and the promenade. The site itself and the wash houses were very well maintained and exceptionally clean. The Aquamarina Park is very large and offers... many attractions but is quite crowded in high season. The beach was wide and the sea was very shallow. Very suitable for small children. Sunbeds and umbrellas can be rented. Leisure activities were very varied: entertainment all day long, mini golf, bike rental, trampolines, small amusement park with 4D cinema, children's playgrounds, a different show every evening, possibility of booking various excursions etc. There is a regular bus service from the campsite to Punta Sabbioni to get to Venice quickly. Several restaurants and cafes on the campsite offer very good food. A huge supermarket (with really reasonable prices) supplies the whole campsite. There are also several stores selling clothing and camping equipment. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. This June we stayed for the first time with our 1.5 year old dog (Pepe), with a caravan... on a pitch and felt very comfortable there too, the sanitary house which has been newly renovated is top notch and is constantly kept clean by the VERY hardworking cleaning staff.
(A quick question for some guests at this point: do you leave your bathrooms in such a state at home? Do you ever think about the cleaning staff who have to clean up your mess?
All in all, it was a relaxing and wonderful vacation at the Marina di Venezia, just like every year,
We will be back in September and are already looking forward to it!!!

Despite these multiple stays, we were not among the regular guests who were allowed to book before the actual booking start on a particular Monday in December from 9 am (how do working people... actually book?). At this point, many of our preferred places were already fully booked. We also felt under time pressure when booking due to the fear that other guests would have booked possible places in the meantime.
What is also not ideal is that guests who had made a reservation were only allowed onto their pitch from 3 pm. Guests who arrived earlier had to spend the waiting time on a meadow a little way from the campsite in the scorching sun with no toilet, no electricity and no water (e.g. for dogs).
And if, like us, you see the film crew shooting this rather low-brow series in the supermarket (!), it's best to stay away!
Nevertheless, we had a great vacation, especially as we, as dog owners, found ideal conditions as always (many walking paths, large meadows, 3 dog runs, dog beach, vet on site and much more).

When we opened the booking portal, a large number of guests were connected and tried to book a pitch. Several thousand guests managed to do so, but unfortunately many also interrupted the booking process or were unable to make a booking. We are happy that there is so much interest in... our campsite and want to try to make the booking process as easy as possible. This is not always easy when so many guests are trying to book a pitch at the same time. As many guests will already be familiar with the booking system and we are not planning any major changes, we believe that the process will be easier in December.
On the other hand, as far as entry from 3pm is concerned, we would like to point out that all guests who have a reservation will be informed in advance about the different times and regulations. For all guests arriving earlier, we will try to offer parking at least during the day or in the morning. We are aware that we can do better, as you have indicated, but unfortunately it is not only up to us. In any case, our aim is to work towards offering our guests a better service and to implement this as quickly as possible. It will always be our favorite campsite in Italy.
In my opinion, the flair and charm have suffered somewhat under the increasing number of regulations. In my opinion, the previous trust in the... guests has been exchanged for frequent checks and reprimands by the staff.
The beautiful location of the campsite and the interaction between staff and guests were what made the marina so special. Die alten H.March 2024PositiivisetThe whole site was very clean, literally every nook and cranny was cleaned, hedges trimmed, paths swept, garbage taken away daily etc The wash house in the dog area was always very clean The walks with our dog in the park were the best we have ever seen on a campsite The arrival and departure was uncomplicated Very good price/performance ratioNegatiivisetLong waiting times and queues at reception on arrival The space in the dog zone could only be booked online Seating would be nice in front of the wash house, as the dog is not allowed in and someone always had to wait standing upSmall town campsiteAll in all, the place is certainly 👍 OK! But if you come here you have to be aware that there are up to 10,000 people on the site in high season 😳you have to want that! When we were here, at the end of April and beginning of May, the occupancy rate was around 40% and it was noisy and busy. The aqua park is huge, the shopping mall and the restaurants are good!

The pitches are large, have everything you need and there's something for everyone.
The sanitary facilities are extremely well maintained and clean and the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and nice!
The site offers everything from... pool facilities to a very well-kept beach, restaurant, supermarket, ice cream parlor, store for camping supplies and much more!
The campers were all very friendly.
I didn't have long waiting times anywhere, which could also be due to the fact that I was there in the low season.
I can only recommend this campsite!
