"Beautiful location, nice campsite, service leaves much to be desired - Nice quiet campsite, ideal location! Lovely! Service is really very poor, very grumpy receptionist who is short-tempered and certainly does not treat you as a customer. Explanation about the area and the campsite is a 'must' and certainly not warmly received here

"Relaxed vacation right behind the dunes - A campsite close to the beach with a nice playground and vacation program for children. The accommodation is in good condition and just right for an uncomplicated vacation. The site is beautifully designed with fountains, its own children's train through the camp and a friendly reception desk that is happy to provide information about the area. You can be on the beach in 5 minutes, the path goes straight over the dunes. The campsite is clean and the showers are fine.

"The name says it all - Camping Welgelegen is in a really good location. Directly behind the dunes. The pitches are ok, but nothing more. Sanitary not recommendable. WC's were too narrow. Showers with coins and time limits. Washbasin only cold water. This is no longer up to date. No shopping facilities (but about 500 meters away). Good restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. With better sanitary facilities I would vacation there again. Not like this.

" - Not suitable for large motorhomes (larger than 6m) due to narrow paths and access roads. I was absolutely unable to access the waste disposal station with an 8m mobile. Price is high (showers and flushing water cost extra). Pitch without waste water and water crane approx. 20m away incl. 21€ booking fee approx. 35€/night.

" - Super campsite! The sanitary facilities are very well maintained and I had the impression that everything was so clean that it was cleaned five times a day. And that at a time when the site is fully booked! We were on the beach within two minutes of our pitch. We only had to cross the dune once. The staff at reception were very friendly. Even though we arrived at a time when reception is actually already closed. And even though we don't have children ourselves, we still had the impression that those who were there were extremely well entertained. Lots of playgrounds, a fairly large and a small petting zoo in the entrance area. There was a soccer pitch, table tennis tables and a playground for very small children right next to our pitch. Our conclusion is that we will definitely visit this campsite again!

Family de Keuninck and the Welgelegen Team welcome you at Park Welgelegen in Cadzand-Bad. The park was founded by the grandparents in 1936. It is located in the most southwestern spot of the Netherlands, at the Belgian border. This part …of Zeeland is known for its versatile aquatic life and rich life on land. Offering a beach of 11 kilometres long, it makes you taste the nature, complemented by interesting cultural and historical experiences. The wide landscape and beautiful scenery give a wonderful sensation of peace and space, land and sea meet each other everywhere. The town of Sluis offers a wide variety of culinary possibilities. Thanks to this unique location, our camping site is the ideal base to discover cosy Dutch and Belgian cities. The historical cities Ghent, Bruges and Sluis are nearby as well as the coastal cities Knokke, Oostende and de Panne which are also well worth visiting. The magnificent nature reserve “Het Zwin” is situated just a few kilometres away. You can also enjoy lovely bike tours throughout the whole of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. Moreover, our site borders immediately on the dunes and is only 50 meters from the North Sea beach: ideal for a child-friendly beach holiday, in the area with the most hours of sunshine in the Netherlands.
