During the time we were there it was like a busy street. It was a constant coming and going. You have to pay for the dog which is ok but otherwise he should not move on the site. At first we thought it was great that we were allocated our pitch even after 13:00.
The campsite is clean, even if the sanitary building is getting on in years, you have everything you need.

Ideal starting point for exploring the surrounding area: St. Peter-Ording, Tönning, Friedrichstadt, Büsum.
No visitor's tax in Wesselburenerkoog.
Good starting point for cycling tours. Further ahead there is a "Strandkate" behind the... dyke, but note opening times and a bathing area in front of the dyke. The Eidersperrwerk is about 2-3 km away and there are 2 more restaurants nearby.
The site offers everything you need and is very quiet outside the main season. Mobile phone reception from Telekom very poor, which makes for more peace and quiet. Sanitary facilities not new but functional and clean.

We were received very friendly by Andrea, we were shown the place on a tour and we were allowed to choose a free parking space. Who has a lot of desire for cycling and hiking is exactly right here. The surrounding villages such as Büsum,... Tönning or the Eidersperrwerk can be reached quickly by bike. The sanitary facilities were always clean, if you want to buy something to eat you just have to drive a few kilometers by car or bike, but you are on vacation and therefore have the time, all in all we had a great rest.Käännetty automaattisesti.

The price/performance ratio is very good. The sanitary building is not new but clean. We missed the bread roll service, the bakery van only came irregularly and then after 11am. Büsum (15km) and St. Peter-Ording (20km) can be reached by bike. Mudflat walks are also possible next to the Eidersperrwerk. The site is nice and quiet, Andrea is very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are... no longer the newest, but the showers in particular offer enough hooks and storage space for clothes and other items, and provide hot water and a pleasant water pressure.
