Thomas v.huhtikuu 20253 nights with the camper and the grandson for the Heide ParkWe really enjoyed our stay. For children there are go-karts, bicycles, a playground, a slope with other children.
The way to the Heide Park can be reached on foot or by bike. Soltau-Therme is easily accessible by bike.
Staff is very polite and check-in goes perfectly even the next morning. The offer of the different sleeping possibilities, from the pitches to the shepherd's wagon etc. is very varied. The location is great 800m to the leisure park.
Modern, clean and barrier-free wash houses. A small grocery store and a great restaurant with its own camping beer.... Staff very friendly and helpful.
Small points of criticism are...it would be nice if there was a waste water disposal at each shower house. A removable shower head would also be great.

With just 110 permanent pitches and 110 tourist pitches, the campsite is quite small. However, the whole site looks very well-kept and the pitches for permanent campers also look tidy. Despite the size, there... are three sanitary blocks, all of which made a very tidy and clean impression. The fact that some campers misbehave cannot be blamed on the operator.
The proximity to the forest is ideal for a morning walk with the dog, but it also offers opportunities for hikes (the Heidschnuckenweg trail runs right past the campsite).
At the same time, the Heide Park is only a few hundred meters away and can be easily reached on foot.
As soon as we arrived at the pitch, we noticed that it was well maintained. It was perfectly level and no drive-on wedge was necessary. The pitch itself was a mixture of grass and fine gravel. The plate head bolts went through like butter and held firmly.
The pitch was long enough for caravans and cars but quite narrow. With a 2.50m caravan and 3.00m awning, there wasn't much space left.
We were surprised that the water/waste water connection was on one side, but the electricity connection was on the opposite side. It was the first time that we actually needed the 25m from the cable drum. :)
Otherwise, the campsite offers a small self-service market for daily needs, a small pool, a nice playground, football pitch, table tennis, volleyball .......

BUT: the cleanliness in the sanitary facilities was unfortunately not at all... we have been campers forever, in the year on several places... this one we liked... so much from the location and the facility that we give it another chance... The toilets were an imposition during our time.... 3 toilets were usable, all three were smeared with excrement on the glasses... the floor was swimming with urine and there were used plasters on the floor... as this was there from Friday to Sunday, the floor was apparently not even cleaned... I had to remove the excrement of strangers on the glasses to be able to use a toilet... but on Saturday it looked the same again...
