"One night - Well suited for a spontaneous stopover for one night. The campsite has a beautiful location in the middle of nature and is right on the water. Ducks run freely across the site. Unfortunately very unfriendly staff

"Very nice location! - Restaurant closed! Sanitary facilities unclean and in need of renovation! Otherwise close to Bad Ems. Very friendly and helpful staff. There is a lot to see in the surrounding area (cities).

"Small but nice campsite - I was traveling with my wife to the Bad Ems campsite for the first time with my own caravan. When we arrived on May 3, we were warmly welcomed by the groundskeeper, Mrs. Schmidt-Henning. There were only a few pitches occupied on the site and after briefly explaining what we wanted, we were allocated a nice pitch with a view of the River Lahn. The pitch itself has a concrete slab on which the caravan stands and a second slab which serves as a floor for the awning. In the event of prolonged rain, the crank supports of the caravan do not sink in and there is no soggy ground in the awning either. The sanitary facilities are functional and clean, but there are obvious signs of flooding in the past. You need a shower token for the showers, which you can get from the groundsman. The available shower time is more than sufficient. Unfortunately, there is neither a seat nor a place to put shower utensils in the ladies' shower. In the men's shower there was a chair and storage space for shower utensils. There is a ladies' shower with 4 cubicles, a ladies' toilet, a men's shower with 4 cubicles and a men's toilet, which also houses the disposal station for the chemical toilet. In another room there are 3 washing machines and a tumble dryer for general use after inserting a coin. A rotary dryer is available for free use. There is also a small restaurant, a kiosk and a gas bottle exchange station on the site. There are also facilities for washing caravans and motorhomes, and gas can be purchased on site. We felt very comfortable here and would visit this site again at any time. This is not a luxury site, but I think 3 to 4 stars are justified for the overall rating.

"Again and again for years - We have been coming back here for a short trip for many years. A wonderful Mrs. Schmidt-Henning, a great place, wonderful peace and a nice walk to Bad Ems. In the morning there is bread service, you can get small things in the kiosk. Sanitary facilities may seem old and daunting at first glance, but in contrast to some *-places are always tip top clean. When the weather is nice, you can take a quick dip in the small pool. Always nice for us.

" - Very nice pitches directly on the Lahn, partly on hard ground. Sanitary facilities old, but functional and clean. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. You can get to Bad Ems quickly by bike, which we liked surprisingly well.
