"Definitely go there: A fantastic place - The campsite is wonderfully situated among the trees and is a great retreat in the middle of nature. It's a wonderful place to hike, put your feet up or simply enjoy a beer in the bar. Lionel and his family are simply great and they are realizing their dream of living in and with nature. And you can feel this spirit every minute you are there. The region was badly affected by fires, but the course has been open again since 2019. Not everything is perfect, but it doesn't have to be this far out in nature. There were two of us there and we only had a tent with us. For us, it was one of the most beautiful places in Portugal. There are pitches for tents, caravans and even two bungalows. There is also a wonderful sunset, barbecue areas, a small pool to cool off in and a really quaint bar with everything you need. Shopping facilities are available in Gouveia, 3 km away.
