This CP is really difficult to rate. The reception is totally friendly. The pitches are, like almost everywhere on the islands, sloping asphalt pitches. That's all ok so far. The sanitary facilities are certainly not up to date. But well... it's still a bit like camping in the old days. There are no... shopping facilities on site. However, the nearest town can be reached on foot or by bike in a few minutes. For small children, it's certainly great that the adjoining farm allows them to see everything and visit the cows and other animals. I would also like to mention the helpfulness of the owners. We broke our bike rack and the owner's son repaired it for us without much ado. A big plus point. The tent pitch is unique. Huge with lots of shade and a view of the bay. A drawback for dog owners is that there is no opportunity to walk dogs in the entire area. All the meadows are fenced off. Then you just have to drive a few minutes and can let the dogs run on any beach. The nearby Clonakilty is a nice little town that invites you to stroll and store. Generally recommendable with some reservations.
