- Sanitary facilities somewhat outdated - no shopping facilities in the vicinity
Forest camping on a large lake
Very nice small campsite on Lake Lagan. Free choice of pitches, no plots. Lots of trees that mark out the pitches and provide shade. Ideal place on the E4 to explore Sweden. We stayed two nights with our child and would use the site again the next time we pass through.
There are also small cabins for rent.

Rest area on the way north
We spent 2 nights at the campsite on our way to other destinations. We were pleasantly surprised. The site is uncomplicated, the sanitary facilities as you would expect in the wild. Good for cyclists and travelers passing through

We always spend a few days on this site every year and have always felt at home there. The site has one real advantage, it is not parceled out, which means you can choose where you want to stand. If you want shade, you can stand under the abundant trees, if you want to stand right by the water you can... do this and if you want absolute peace and quiet you can go to the edge of the site. Absolutely no traffic noise! The next village called Värnamo offers all amenities for those who want to go shopping or just sit in a cafe.
