Beforehand, we did not know exactly where we would end up. My girlfriend (22) and I (28) had read up a bit but let the element of surprise do its work.
Upon arrival at Eko-Oaza, located near Mojkovac, the owner explained the ins and outs of the campground.... He began by saying that he saw his guests as family and we experienced that throughout our stay. Almost everything was possible, everything could and could be asked. From making a campfire to watching European Cup matches to asking for some bread for the road last minute. The campground is also completely self-sufficient. That means they make their own bread, keep chickens, goats, etc. on the campground to provide breakfast and dinner. Both breakfast and dinner are of very good quality and we can recommend them to everyone. Furthermore, you can order drinks during the day and there is a WiFi point at the campsite. Orders are noted and settled at the end of the stay so you don't have to keep pulling out your wallet. Finally, there is no need to skimp, the stay as well as food and drinks are very affordable.
The environment, the valley in which the campground is located, is really fantastic. You are surrounded by mountains which looks like a magical setting. +- 10 minutes walk (you have to descend a bit) is the river "Tare" located. A crystal clear turquoise river which is even more beautiful in real life than in the pictures. Deep enough to take a swim and the river is also full of trout. These are not easy to catch but the activity alone in this nature is more than worth it.

A descent from the campsite leads directly down to the crystal-clear Tara with its bathing area. The term Oaza was rightly chosen for this site. Staff are always available via the bell. Always friendly and also fulfills wishes. The... cuisine is highly recommended. The criticized one-sidedness is relative - how much one-sidedness do we have at home? Everything is clean and in good condition. Some of the huts have swollen, poorly opening/closing windows due to the effects of nature. Otherwise, they are also in good condition and clean. - Eberhard H.August 2018PositiivisetLocation, tranquility, everything...NegatiivisetYou have to move on at some point...A paradise on the TaraThis campsite is a real camper's dream, and rightly so: Absolutely quiet, with a free choice of pitches on a huge, lush green meadow, very tidy sanitary facilities and the best freshly home-baked bread I have ever had in 30 years of camping (order in advance in the evening!). Plus udderly warm milk in... the morning - and delicious food in the restaurant if required. A dream! Plus the wonderful surroundings, the Tara with a small beach and rocks for sunbathing (and warming up!!!) just 10 minutes away. It's also a great starting point for excursions into the beautiful surrounding region. The small Dobrilovina monastery about a kilometer away is also well worth a visit. Oh yes: incredibly friendly staff and a very reasonable price. This place alone is reason enough to visit Montenegro (thanks for the tip, Andi!).Käännetty automaattisesti.

If you book in advance (approx. 2-3 hours) you can enjoy a four-course menu, fish or meat. Very good home-baked bread if ordered in advance. Sanitary facilities very clean, separate shower and toilet would be... an advantage. Very nice brand new lounge. The way down into the Tara gorge is quite steep at times, but manageable. We were warmly welcomed and the first thing we were invited to do was enjoy a schnapps. We immediately felt at home. The campsite is located on a large meadow with a panoramic... view of the mountains. A brand new sanitary building was opened this year and the showers are great. There is a large communal kitchen, a covered terrace and a fire pit. There is a table tennis table on the pitch. You can cool off after a match on the banks of the Tara River, about 400 meters away. The site operators organize rafting tours on the Tara and sell homemade products and drinks. Especially recommended: the home-baked bread - be sure to try it.
