However, almost all the hooks in the sanitary facilities are now broken and nobody cares. There are garbage cans (made of sheet metal) which are of course completely rusted by the sea. Our pitch was 152, where you can't get to your water and electricity... connection because these are on the neighboring plot one street further down and separated by a thick hedge. Approx. 100 m walk to turn on the water tap.
Basically, the place is very nice and cozy for Croatia.
Some dog owners should visit a dog school, it is normal that the cat-sized four-legged friends bark (whistle) 6 hours a day.

Beach... and sea are nicely laid out, but lots of used sanitary products such as pads, tampons and condoms in the water. (I couldn't believe it at first)
I had already been told beforehand that these experiences in the water had already happened in 2022. I was shocked when the stuff came up to me in the water. Disgusting.
I've seen a lot of beaches. But never experienced anything like this.
But the campsite doesn't feel responsible for it because it's supposedly a public beach. But I've never experienced anything like this on a public beach either.
The area in front of the campsite is not very inviting. Very much under construction and demolition.
Garbage on the streets etc.
Dogs on the beach are only tolerated in the evening after peak times.
Pitches for caravans very spacious.
Water and waste water on site incl. electricity.
This is also very convenient.
In my opinion, however, this campsite does not deserve a "premium" rating. Simply because my experiences in the sea disgust me so much.
And also the pool, which is far too small for the crowds.
For a premium campsite, I still miss a fishmonger and the friendliness of the vendors. A clean beach with clean water where you don't have to worry about having a used tampon in your mouth the next time you breathe.
Since the experience, I've had a constant image in my mind's eye of coming out of the water with women's sanitary towels stuck all over my body.

What you expect from a nice campsite is relative, personally I could do without the pool and air-conditioned toilets if there was more shade on the campsite and beach and less rough gravel on the paths. I also find several... smaller sanitary buildings with shorter distances more pleasant.
But I think €120.00 per night (for a pitch and 2 people in June) is a rip-off. The solution with a central sanitary building is very successful here. The sanitary facilities were always very clean. The number of facilities was also sufficient with plenty of space. The only... pity is that the furnishings stolen by campers are not replaced. There are no towel rails in the toilets and showers. The access roads to the individual access roads are very narrow and are made even trickier by unfortunate signs and canopies.
The manhole covers protruding approx. 10 cm are also a danger. The statement that every pitch has electricity, water and drainage is not true. These are always designed for 4 pitches. So long power cables and water hoses are necessary. But you can work on these shortcomings. The welcome at reception was very nice. The site is well laid out. It is right on the beach, separated by a fence. There is a pool with a pool bar, a restaurant and a supermarket. However, the supermarket was not open during our period.... But there is also a supermarket just outside the campsite. The washrooms were always clean, just like the rest of the campsite. When we were there, we were allowed to use the wellness area of the neighboring hotel free of charge. Zadar is also quite easy to get to. Apparently there is also a bus stop in front of the campsite. However, I would advise against taking a cab back from Zadar. We paid 30 euros for the short distance at the beginning of April.
Unfortunately, I can't say what it's like in terms of cleanliness, noise levels, occupancy at the beach and pool etc. in high season.Käännetty automaattisesti.

The place is an ideal starting point for this. The bus stop is right outside the door, or you can take a cheap cab within 10-15 minutes. Directly into the old town.
We received a friendly welcome and were able to choose our own pitch in an... allocated area, which we really liked.
The pitches are square with a small fence separating them from the neighbors. However, as they partied both nights until the early hours and no security was interested (if there was any) we were not very relaxed. - Fortunately only two nights!
The ground is covered with large gravel stones, which is unpleasant and makes it almost impossible to set pegs. Everything looks very bare and sober. A little more greenery would be nice and good against the hot climate.
Speaking of the climate: the sanitary facilities are clean and modern. However, a mistake has probably been made in the shower rooms. There is a sauna climate that is almost unbearable!

We can't confirm everything we had read beforehand. Everything is clean and very well maintained. Showers and toilets are super warm water always there. Supermarket good and great selection. Staff always friendly and helpful. Pool with loungers and umbrella. Service... even at the pool. The price is completely ok for everything on offer. Ideal place for Zadar and the Kornati.
