As the barrier was open, we drove to the less frequented site and looked for a parking space. A few minutes later, the presumed owner of the site appeared and asked us extremely loudly and aggressively "... what we would... allow ourselves to do on private property...". Fearing for our physical integrity, we left the site without a word and found a nicer site with friendly owners a few kilometers further on in Ückermünde. However, a "vacation park" is something else. Without a bike or car, you're soon on your own here. You can order bread rolls at reception, but you have to be on the move for everything else.
The pitches are large, but... the site itself is manageable.
To sum up: if you want to stay overnight relatively cheaply, this is the place for you - but you have to be mobile. However, it is certainly not a vacation park for families. Rubble in the lower part of the bathing area.Very nice family-run small campsiteThis privately run campsite is still under construction and the restaurant was still being renovated at the time. However, the site itself is excellent. There is enough space for caravans or motorhomes. Electricity, water and waste water are included in the price. The sanitary facilities are clean and... functional. The shower cubicles are large enough and the shower water is charged by the liter. 20 liters for 50 cents, which you can turn on and off as required. I always got by with 50 cents. The price is high. Very many Haff mosquitoes.A gem with rough edgesThe campsite is a gem if you want to enjoy peace and nature. Ideal for cycling and canoeing tours and hikes. The private bathing area would be great if there wasn't so much rubble and glass in the ground. You have to go to Ueckermünde for bread rolls and the rest. A very worthwhile town with very informative... tourist information. - The pitch is the most expensive we have ever paid. On top of that - 50 cents for 20 l. Water for showering (if it works) and € 3 per day (!) for the garbage (for us this meant € 30 for 5 liters of garbage). Instead of - 50 cents refund for a complaint, there were 15 minutes of instruction. In addition, the rules: without a mask in the sanitary facilities - ban from the site! Enter the site without an online booking - leave the site immediately and book in front of the gate (if you can). Four weeks booking - no discount. The word hospitality, a thank you, a good day, ... unfortunately does not occur. What a pity! The place would have a lot of potential, yes, if ... . Reception is unfortunately not really recognizable as such. Gate to the CP must remain closed due to Corona, 🙈 but every guest is allowed to touch the handle X TIMES and this is not disinfected! Restaurant not available on the pitch. Sanitary facilities... clean, showers 20l for 0,50€ are a cheek. 3€ per day for dogs and no dog bags on the pitch, sad. No lighting to the CP or its paths to the site. Power supply in the lower area a disaster!
Area B due to rain our motorhomes and caravans stood in a lake 😢 unfortunately no help from the operator when moving, or concession of any kind for half a day's vacation loss due to dismantling.
We also missed a good day or a hello or a good trip and thank you ... There was enough distance to the neighbors. The peace and quiet on the pitch was wonderful. Fresh bread rolls for breakfast thanks to the bread roll service. The sanitary building is large and was always very clean. Masks were compulsory there, which everyone adhered to. There is direct access to the water. Super friendly operators, you felt very welcome and well looked after. Well-maintained sanitary building, bread roll service, price/performance ratio absolutely fine. Friendly welcome, plenty of space with distance requirements - directly on a reed-lined small bay of the Szczecin Lagoon with a sandy bottom and onshore waves... throughout our stay! Spacious Swedish-style sanitary building (like the rental cabins, e.g. for cyclists). Relaxed, child-friendly atmosphere. Dogs no problem (some breeds excluded). Although larger restaurant building at the entrance, no restaurant in summer 2018, only breakfast rolls (to order) and coffee at reception. - An inconspicuous site at first glance with a fantastic bathing area. The area is ideal for cycling. All shopping facilities are within cycling distance. The new owners are doing a great job! The Messi junk of the past is almost gone. Innovations still need... some time. I see a bright future! Winter time is the very best, we have loved it for many years.
