In March and September and we will definitely be back in summer and January.Käännetty automaattisesti. - Axel V.March 2025PositiivisetThe location of the campsite, the excellent sanitary facilities, the sauna, the ski room, the friendly staff and especially in winter the direct gas connectionNegatiivisetA very small disadvantage is that the pitches have a very helpful, compacted awning area, but this means you can't put tent pegs (not even stainless steel screws) in some places. The tent held up anyway.Winter camping without winter at the GrubhofWe have been coming here to ski for years and enjoy the comfort of the campsite in winter. The location is so great that even if there is no winter weather (which is more common in Lofer in March) there are plenty of alternatives and if you ski less, you have more time to spend in the excellent sauna....
The sanitary facilities are extremely pleasant in winter thanks to their large individual bathrooms, each with underfloor heating, and in March the site is not so busy, which of course makes the whole thing even more pleasant for us.
The barrier system, which recognizes the license plate and opens automatically, is also very convenient, so the flexible entry times make you totally mobile, no matter when and how.

I understand that this could be an advantage for many, but for my children (12, 14), who are used to spa visits from an early age, this was a disadvantage.

It was perfect, we had great places, great service and the view was worth a wow every day. We've never had such great bathrooms and they were always spotlessly clean. The bread roll service with a huge selection of delicious baked goods was great, the wellness area was also wonderful. We will be back.
