There are pitches with sea views.
The site has good facilities and fairly large pitches. The children's playground is (surprise ...) quite noisy, the other pitches are quieter.... New this year is the covered pool - not particularly deep, but therefore also suitable for children.
The WiFi was good and was sufficient for streaming, at least on our pitch. Unfortunately, we couldn't get satellite reception because of the trees, but that depends on the pitch.
The wash house at the back is slightly better than the one at the front (e.g. one-hand shower fittings). There is also a large kitchen with a common room and barbecue area. There were also soap dispensers and toilet paper everywhere :-)
There are kayaks and SUP boards to rent, a small beach kiosk with drinks, fast food, gas (!), ice cream and bread service. Otherwise, at least in summer, there were changing snack carts in front of the barrier on the beach - unfortunately no restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
Many supermarkets are easily accessible by car or bicycle. Many cycle routes in the immediate vicinity, there are also good museums in Horsens, we visited the "Fängslet" prison and the industrial museum - great! We are renovating the minigolf course here in the winter as it is really a bit worn out and at the same time we will try to upgrade a bit with some more hot food in the kiosk. The site has a large number of permanent campers spread across the whole site. All the pitches are very well maintained. The entire site, including the sunbathing lawn and the small section of the beach in front of the campsite, are spotlessly clean.... The sanitary area is excellent. The weather has adapted to the good location and has also spoiled us. We can recommend the campsite without any ifs or buts. The site is divided into "Quiet zone", "Part with children", "View" etc. Unfortunately, we couldn't choose which area we wanted to stay in with the camper van, as a camper van area is reserved for camper vans. As the beach is public and not part of the campsite, there was loud partying late into the night. We are constantly improving the campsite, and more pitches for campers will certainly be added in the next few years. We spent 4 nights there, staying on a standard pitch; the campground is entirely flat, very tidy, with grass-covered pitches and in some... places a bit of sand, since the sea and beach are just ahead. Facilities are divided into two groups of buildings, each of which includes men's and women's toilets (each sector has a few showers and a few toilets), a kitchen area (in the one we used there were three stations, each with a sink and two hotplates), additional sinks for washing dishes and cleaning fish, and space to empty the chemical toilet; the larger block also has a laundry room with a small sink, washing machine and dryer for a fee (via card). The sanitary facilities are new and have a good level of cleanliness; the showers are located inside enclosed compartments with also a sink, mirror and bench; hot water is charged via card to swipe in a reader (DKK 5 for 4 minutes, which seemed to us at first to be a bit expensive, but is actually less so than in many other Danish campsites ..); the kitchens are also clean and have an attached common room (the one we used was very cozy and, more importantly, almost entirely glass-fronted) with tables and chairs for eating, watching (free) TV, reading newspapers or magazines, or even for holding small private parties (as we saw on the day of our departure). At the entrance are the reception desk and a small market (where you can order bread for the next day's breakfast-although buying it outside obviously costs less), both open until 10 p.m., and a mini-golf course (for a fee), as well as rental bikes; near the main service block is a play area for children; the free beach is just outside the campground. Access to the campground by car is allowed until 10:30 p.m. and is always possible with the usual card for hot water in the showers and for washing machines and dryers. The reception at the reception desk did not seem overly friendly to us, but this is probably a cultural thing; we recommend, in case you do not speak Danish or German but English, especially over the phone, to make sure there are no misunderstandings. In general, the campground is extremely quiet and orderly, especially very quiet.Käännetty automaattisesti.

H.June 2015Positiivisetbeautifully laid out clean placeNegatiivisetthe surroundings, poor shopping facilities and the unsightly beachWell-kept pitch right on the waterThe site is very nicely located, we had a large pitch with a view of the water, but we felt trapped behind the approx. 3m high fence. However, this was a must because at the weekend lots of people spent their weekend on the very small stretch of beach in front of the campsite and did their business everywhere.... The photo of the campsite is a bit deceptive, the beach is much smaller than you would expect from the photo and so everything takes place in the front area of the campsite, where complete family groups come to barbecue, or larger groups of children who can romp around all day. This is of course annoying if you want peace and quiet. We didn't like the fact that there were no cycle paths at all, the nearest places were purely residential, we couldn't even find a bistro or a discount store, so we had to go into town. So the only option was the camping store with its small selection. We think it's a shame, because the site is very nicely laid out, clean and has good sanitary facilities, a mini golf course and a nice playground, so everything is OK on the site but the surrounding area is poor.Käännetty automaattisesti.Vastasi Horsens City Camping September 19, 2016we Are happe that you liked our camp but sorry to hear that you didn't find the inviroment nice.
Something must have gone wrong. We have around 10 km routes specially for walking/biking all around the campsite and we have shopping for normal grosseries i 4 shops less than 1,5 km from the campsite.
The... beach is well visited, because it is a public beach and people from Horsens like to visit it. The fence is there for the guests and is only 1.8 m high. The beach is both mostly with sand, but the is a large area for sunbathing with nice grass.
We hope you will take the time in the reception if you visit us nex time and we will show it all to you.

Lots of noise and disturbance in the front and viewing areas.Campsite close to the city with a beach party feelingIn June 2015, we were looking for a pitch with a view of the fjord so that we could enjoy the view of the fjord in peace. This was then inevitably close to the public beach area, which was not so obvious to us from the site plans and the campsite description. Nice campsite which is unfortunately very... close to the city. In dry weather there are kindergarten and school groups on the beach every day and in the afternoons and early evenings until late at night young people and/or young adults playing loudly, barbecuing or partying with loud music. The police and social services have tried to stop the events, but have been largely unsuccessful. When the campsite store and toilets are closed, people like to pee or more in front of the viewing area. Every morning, the beach and campsite forecourt are very dirty due to the activities of the evening before. Dog owners need to be careful of food and barbecue remains and other leftovers.Käännetty automaattisesti.

Ralph B.May 2011Although the distance to the city center is only 15 minutes by bike, Husodde Strand Camping is located in the middle of nature. The site is ideal for anglers. The water is shallow and you can wade deep into the fjord with rubber trousers. The pitches are grouped into zones. Families are located right... next to the playground, while campers looking for peace and quiet are placed at the edge of the forest or on the viewing areas with a view of the fjord. The respective areas are separated by hedges and the individual pitches are not parceled out.
