Depending on the pitch, the road can be annoying. Older but clean sanitary facilities. Access to the beach via a steep dune. Not suitable for baby carriages.Surfing hot-spot with a good location between the fjord and the North SeaThe location is a bit of a drawback. There should be some investment in the sanitary facilities and in the campsite. The entrances to the pitches are relatively narrow. We received a friendly welcome. Quite a casual atmosphere. There is a small store with bread service on the square.the sanitary building... is a bit older but clean.200m through the dunes to the great North Sea beach.on the fjord side there is a surf school.quite good surfing and paddling conditions.there is also good fishing, both in the North Sea and in the fjord.there are also good shopping facilities in the village. Due to strong gusts of wind that hit the campsite unprotected, we gave up after one night. The campsite is conveniently located on the main road, but you can't hear the traffic at night. Hvide Sande is about 20... minutes' walk away. The site is right opposite the surfing area. The site is pragmatically laid out, with little privacy. The sanitary facilities do their job, the showers are chargeable. Pitches for caravans with awnings and cars somewhat small but clean. There are no hooks in the WC. The exit to the beach is a bit tricky but absolutely worth it. Very fine sandy beach. The large sandy beach invites you to linger and take a walk. The village of Hvide Sande is easy to reach by bike. The harbor has everything you need to live and you can buy fresh fish daily at the smokehouse. The campsite is clean... and the sanitary building is large and clean. The operators are very friendly and the store on the campsite has a very good basic range. - Björn F.August 2013In my opinion, the best located CP in the area around Hvide Sande. It took us 25 minutes to walk across the North Sea beach with our dog. It took 10 minutes by bike along the main road. The campsite actually offers everything a camper needs. Family washrooms, fish removal areas, enough water hoses to... rinse off your surfing equipment, WLAN, etc. If you want to go surfing on the North Sea, Ringköping is not the best place for you, unless you drive every day. At this CP, windsurfers have to drag themselves over two large dunes. If you want to go to Ringköping, go to the WEST Wind Surfcenter. If you tow your gear over from the CP, it's not quite as steep and heavy and you can launch from WEST Wind free of charge. You should be prepared for a lot of activity there. You don't really need to say anything about walking your dog in Denmark anyway....perfect. Conclusion: We liked the campsite and will be back. It's quiet and you can reach all the relevant things from there without a car. Tip: The fishmonger in the harbor also offers Danish fish specialties to eat right away.
