They are cleaned twice a day.
When the site is fully booked, there are bottlenecks at sanitary block 3 (by the river). Unfortunately, nobody pays attention to the behavior of the campers. It is very annoying and... also annoying that fires are made in fire bowls with wet wood and thus the whole campsite is smoked in. You then have to close all the windows on the caravan or motorhome so that the smoke doesn't get inside.
This is usually the case at the weekend when groups have arrived at the back of the campsite.

A.July 2024PositiivisetLocation and the camping it self is quite cute. This could be a nice place... but, then you should read under "negative"NegatiivisetWell.. Where do we start? Check-in was like a time travel back to the former DDR. At the reception there is a very rude and arrogant old lady (probably an old Stasi investigator). Extremely rude and refuses to answer your questions. The first thing she asks for is your passport, which she then wants to keep until you check out. Hey, these are behavours that were done during the cold war. After this, you are asked to sign a contract that you are staying there. As I am not so perfect in German language, I asked for some help about what was written there. She completely ignored me what I was asking for, and just repeated telling me to sign the papers. I unfortunately had the opportunity to study this scenario 4 times in the line in front of me, before it was my turn. My only advice to you (if you want to have a nice vacation) is to stay as far away as possible from this crappy place. We shall not even talk about the cleaning in the service building down by the river. In the morning there was blood on the floor after someone probably cut a foot or a finger (of course this can happen to anyone). But the sad thing was that it looked just as disguisting even at 11 o'clock. This is a horrible place. I put the lowest grade that goes on this evaluation. Unfortunately there were no negative ratings, because then I would have given them. And you, who own the campsite. Make sure to replace that horrible lady at the reception. It will immediately be much nicer there. It's a shame that one person can lower the rating to the bottom, when it could have been a really good campsite otherwise... Goodbye! See you never again!!!Worst camping we have ever visited!!!Will never ever visit this place again!!!

Like some reviews say, you can hear the street across the river at times, but this didn't bother us (we're from a big city, maybe we're used to more).
We had a peaceful stay at the camping, a pitch in the shadow, close to the river, not too close (might have... been dangerous with the little one).
We usually walked to the modernized sanitary building, as this offered more comfort, especially for taking showers.

I would have received a note about this on arrival. As I neither received... this nor was it explained to me that this was necessary, I was called a liar by an elderly lady who doesn't want to pay for his electricity. I find that very impertinent.

We were just as satisfied with the sanitary facilities and the restaurant as we were with the friendly staff and the overall atmosphere.
However,... the incessant noise from the nearby road even bothered my wife, which is saying something. Everything is quite tidy on the site, but the sanitary facilities are too few for the number... of visitors, so they are not particularly clean if you go there during the day.
We had a pitch right by the water; simply beautiful. The site is mainly meadowland, parceled out but with few hedges or anything like that. The pitches are beautifully situated and large enough for larger caravans. The site is very interesting for anglers. The sanitary facilities were always clean.
The restaurant on the site is highly recommended (great... crusty roast).
A cycle and hiking trail runs past the site.
Great excursion possibilities.

The location by the river is idyllic, but you should have mosquito repellent with you. The nearby road is audible, but not particularly disturbing at night. As far as the sanitary buildings are concerned, there... is a smaller, older building at the back of the site, the newer building is behind the reception and therefore very remote for many tourist pitches. Unfortunately, the wash houses are not sufficiently cleaned and maintained, we had the impression that the floors had not been cleaned for some time, and the wash basins and showers also appeared unkempt despite their modernity. Another drawback is that there are no motion detectors and you have to use a flashlight to find the light switches in the dark. That is not in keeping with the times. Neither is the internet, which is supposed to be free for 3 hours, but only at a time, it is not possible to split it up. In general, the registration went smoothly, in the on-site restaurant you can quickly get hot food in the evening. Overall, the site is okay for an overnight stay. You can swim in the river. You can go for a good walk with your dog. The location by the river is very nice. However, you can clearly hear the road passing by. The sanitary facilities are modern, but should still be cleaned... a little better from cobwebs. You need 50 ct pieces. The restaurant cuisine is very tasty. At the time of our visit, the service had reached its limits due to too few staff. Too many tables and too few staff. A small store has fresh bread... rolls in the morning and other nice things too! The host family is very friendly and helpful, just like a family. There are also good exercise facilities for the dog.
