There are shrubs hanging in the access roads to the pitches, so that we scratched our vehicle (a small box).
The sanitary facilities are simply disgusting. After "showering" (if you manage to set the water temperature) the... shower water runs out 1:1 outside under the building. There was a "normal" toilet but without a toilet seat and with an open cistern. Not a single door could be locked.
Unfortunately, it was very stormy, so you couldn't go into the water either. There's no need to mention the garbage lying around everywhere, even directly at the campsite. The small market is very manageable, but very expensive.

Chemical toilet emptying very bad, "adventurous" at night without lighting as well as the entire campsite.Dog owners beware!!!Dogs that are off the lead and stray dogs are pelted with stones and attacked and beaten with bamboo sticks by the campsite owner. We had to watch as a very sweet and trusting dog was stoned by the campsite owner right next to our camper. When we called him to account, we were approached by the campsite... owner.

Overall, we are very disappointed with the behavior of the entire management/owners of Pa Emer, especially as we had been on vacation at Pa Emer for more than 3 months the previous two years. During that time, however, we unfortunately did not realize that someone who opens up their campground to dog owners is capable of such actions.

WE arrived with 3 children, the place for the tent was very comfortable, the bathrooms were clean. The water was ok, we used it also for cooking. Water was very warm and the beach clean. The island is great, we were swimming, reading, playing and eating there,... the waiters were very helpful. All the guest were friendly. The route was ok too. We made excursions from here to Tirana, Berat, Durres, Tujan. The camping has a central location.

The price of €20 is steep compared to other sites. The cleanliness is only present on the page, toilets dirty and the two flushing facilities overcrowded and disgusting. Unfortunately,... the staff are disinterested and even unfriendly. To make matters worse, there is no drinking water. We were here six years ago, a small site, individual, a little unfriendly, but clean in proportion. It was good with about 20 pitches. A beautifully laid out site awaited us. But that was all. The sanitary facilities are in poor condition and unclean. There are only 3 toilets each for men and women, and some of the doors can't be locked or the toilet is broken. Too few for so... many pitches, as there was a constant wait in front of the toilet. There is no toilet paper or garbage can, which is to be expected at a price of €20. When showering, we were left without water after just 2 minutes. When we asked, we were told that this was normal when many people were showering and that we should be patient for a few minutes... then unfortunately there was only limited water again and it was also very cold. They advertise a new and second water source on site. Wifi is only available in the restaurant on the island. This closed 1 hour before the normal closing time. After that you can no longer get there. So wifi only limited and not included, as advertised, but only in connection with a visit to their restaurant. When we paid, we expressed our displeasure to the owner. He didn't agree to a price reduction and just told us to pay and "fuck off". Shortly afterwards, he insulted another couple in the same way. Accordingly, I can only advise against visiting this place! The owner is only interested in making money here. Absolute rip-off!Käännetty automaattisesti.

It was not free when we arrived. The operator then photographed our reservation. Apparently it was lost. By chance, our pitch became available the next day. The location right by the sea is fantastic. But that was it. Not enough sanitary facilities and in... a very desolate condition. Toilet seat loose and not sufficient for this size of pitch (2 men and 2 women). Same number of showers and not clean. Amount of water depending on luck. One evening there were 8 people waiting in front of the showers. Water probably soapy and yellow due to desalination (supposedly 200 meter deep well). Afterwards we only went to the outdoor shower at the Hotel Barbaut. Funnily enough, they have clean water of drinking quality. There are also only 2 sinks. Island with restaurant great, WLAN only there, perhaps because of the conversion rate, food average. You can eat better and much cheaper at Villa Barbaut, 50 m from the campsite. But all this would be bearable if the father and son operators weren't so arrogant. Unfortunately, mother and staff can't make up for it. When we paid, the son said "check out", called his mother, stood up without a word and leaned against the balcony railing without saying anything else. The place is probably so busy because the ferries from Italy arrive in Dürres. Finally: waste is separated. I happened to pass by the garbage truck on the day it was emptied. We were warmly welcomed (now for the fourth time) and feel completely at ease and well looked after every time. The pitches right on the water make you feel a bit like you're in the Caribbean. The operators are keen to prevent further development of the coast and have... created a small idyll here with added value.
