Booking is definitely an advantage as it is a small, beautifully situated and clean campsite.
Our two dogs were also treated warmly and we all felt completely at ease.
Unfortunately we only had a short stay, but we will definitely be back.

You should book early! The pitches are small and located under trees (nicely shaded), so they are more suitable for small, slim caravans or small caravans. Part of the site is rented out to... permanent campers. The reception is in the club restaurant, which is closed on Mondays. The restaurant offers delicious home-style cooking at a great price-performance ratio. The sanitary facilities are those of the canoe club. The site is located directly on the Main and next to a riding stable, so you can hear the boats and the snorting of the horses. Fine tent site, nice view of Main and Würzburg. Sanitary building is a bit of a walk. The place is OK for that - maybe 2 or 3 nights - longer def. not. The place is either not or insufficiently signposted - you quickly drive in the wrong direction and then have to reverse with the trailer back again. Registration is in a small restaurant... before you get to the site. The groundsman is very friendly, as is the service in the restaurant. However, once you have visited the toilets, you won't be eating here again. There is a clear need for action in terms of cleanliness. The toilets and shower rooms are on the ground floor of the restaurant and sometimes make a dusty impression. Here, too, points are clearly deducted. Access to the sanitary facilities - which are also completely overloaded at times - is only granted if you enter the combination via a code lock - you shouldn't be in a hurry here because of the long distance. The only fresh water point is near the sanitary facilities. The site as such is simply great for Wbg. explorers with bikes. There is also no real noise. But that's about it. As I said, proximity to the city is great. Payment is made in advance for the time booked. Possible odor nuisance due to adjacent horse stableA spontaneous stop in Würzburg on the way throughTwo of us stayed at the campsite for one night with a camper van. We paid €16 for the overnight stay including electricity, toilet, shower and waste disposal. Despite the day of rest (Monday), we were warmly welcomed by the groundsman. After a brief introduction to the site, we were given a city map... and tips on how to get around by public transport. There is a streetcar stop directly behind the clubhouse and a day ticket for €4.75 per person or a family ticket for €9.50 allows you to reach the city center quickly and easily. Opposite is a beach bar which, as you can imagine, is not exactly quiet. But the sanitary facilities were an INCREDIBILITY. The washbasin, toilet and shower facilities... are very old. The partitions in the toilet are slowly disintegrating. The sinks only cold water and very calcified. The showers belong on the garbage everything calcified the water runs off very slowly and you think it is a changing shower because about every 20 sec. Cold water comes. The whole facility makes a run-down impression. It has NEVER been cleaned in that time. NEVER AGAIN.Käännetty automaattisesti.
