The atmosphere at the campsite is rather anonymous. The playground for the children is great, as is the petting zoo. There is only the restaurant on site, which is very expensive. The combination with the admission tickets makes the price for admission and campsite acceptable. For children, the campsite is an experience in itself due to the large number of Lego figures on the site and therefore a good introduction to the visit... to LEGOLAND. The sanitary facilities are clean and the family bathrooms are really great. The prices in the store are quite high. Above all, we were surprised by Lalandia! There's something for everyone here: a large fun pool (with slides and wave pool), ice rink, climbing wall, mini golf and bowling. Plus stores and restaurants - all under one roof! Legoland... was also just a 5-minute walk away. There is a large (with bouncy cushions) and a small playground on the campsite. The sanitary facilities were always clean, only the shower curtains could be replaced. We received a friendly welcome in the campsite's pirate restaurant, but the buffet looked as if we had arrived too late. Very nice place with many space; there are animals made from LEGO bricks everywhere:) WiFi free access with poor condition- only good speed at reception. - Holger W.August 2014Positiivisetshort way to Legoland DKNegatiivisetNoneThe CP from Legoland - and perfect for just thatAs part of this year's summer vacation, we stayed at Legoland Village in Billund - even if it doesn't sound like it, it's a campsite, or rather there are vacation apartments, rental cabins and pitches. The site is run by Lego, so there are packages including use of the campsite and entry to Legoland... - a real tip. As at Legoland, English is understood at reception as well as Danish - many of the staff also speak German, sometimes very well, or at least the important bits about checking in and so on. We cannot judge the apartments and rental properties. The plots for campers are divided by hedges into blocks of 8 pitches each, which makes the whole thing manageable and quiet. The ground is gravel or asphalt, the pitches are all on grass and are sufficient for caravans + awnings and cars. The 4 pitches on each side of the site share an electricity column, 25 m of cable is more than enough. Water taps and gray water outlets underneath are sporadically distributed, we had about 50 m to walk to them. The waste-holding tank can be emptied in the shower house, see the following photos. The shower house 2 we used offered the usual shower/WC/urinal/cooking plate/dishwashing and washing facilities: TV room, barbecue area, outdoor table/bench, family bathroom (at no extra charge) and drying cupboard (the latter refers to a cupboard commonly used in Scandinavia for hanging up clothes with integrated heating. Use is subject to a charge). WLAN is generally available free of charge - but did not reach our pitch and is probably quite slow. There is a mini-market right next to the pitch, which covers all camper needs and also has a small selection of Lego items. The prices are reasonable to slightly higher (compared to Germany, probably just the usual DK surcharge?). There is also a restaurant "Pirate's Inn" right on the square: you can choose to eat there as a buffet (looked good) or order something to take away. The take-away menu is at chip shop level, the prices are bearable but not cheap, just like in the mini market. I found various complaints online about a lack of cleanliness - but I can't confirm them, and that in high season (the whole of DE was on vacation). The shower house was always clean, only the soap dispenser was occasionally empty. For the children there are several playgrounds, suitable for different age groups - as well as some animals (donkeys, goats, rabbits), a small lake with ducks (you could probably also swim) and of course Legoland about 10 minutes' walk away. If you like, you can take the hourly shuttle bus (free of charge). The place is not necessarily cheap - but still a good choice to visit Legoland, otherwise I wouldn't go here.Käännetty automaattisesti.

The pitches are very nicely laid out, the maintenance of the sanitary facilities is poor, and the prices in the mini-market are pure rip-off! Pitches are separated by large hedges (3 pitches each bordered by a hedge). Nice sanitary facilities. However, at the end of August some of them no longer looked sufficiently well maintained. - seb R.July 2013The campsite is in the immediate vicinity of Lego Land. Lalandia is right next door. A free shuttle bus runs through Billund throughout the day. This makes it easy to get to the airport, the city center or Legoland. The walk to Legoland is only 5 minutes. There are 6 playgrounds for children and a small... "zoo" on the campsite. You have to choose your own campsite, but this worked out well. It is a short walk to the wash houses. There is a restaurant, a small store and a Lego store on the campsite itself. The sanitary facilities are unfortunately getting on in years and not always necessarily clean, as they are only cleaned once a day. A tip: There are family showers and there are also toilets. It is cleaner here. I would also go there as a single person if necessary. the staff are very friendly and courteous. They don't necessarily speak German at reception, but you can get very far with English. Only the waiting time can be a little longer. You should also put your parking disk in the window before registering in the parking lot! If this is not in the window, there are fines of up to 700-800 crowns. In the CP store you can buy the essentials you might need. The prices here are the same as in the supermarkets in Billund. Unfortunately, you have to put up with aircraft noise on this campsite. This is because Billund Airport is next to the campsite. Sometimes planes take off here in the middle of the night. All in all, a very great place. Especially for families with children. They can really let off steam there. And you can also sit down in the TV room (by the wash house) to wind down in the evening.Käännetty automaattisesti.
Carlos N.August 2011This CP is located right next to LEGO Land. As a CP guest, you have free access to Billund Bad. The Lalandia water park is right next to the campsite. Dogs are welcome and even have their own exercise area. The sanitary facilities are of a mediocre standard. In the evening, the aircraft noise from the small airport nearby is disturbing. There is a constant coming and going on the site, because everyone only stays for a few days because of Legoland. There is a wait at reception. The staff don't always speak German.... After registering, the ladies at reception ask you to find a pitch yourself. This can be almost impossible in the evening because the place is then full. Patience is the order of the day. Children can move around freely and there are plenty of opportunities to play. The pitches themselves are level, clean and tidy. Hedges and trees provide excellent protection from the wind. Electricity can be a problem because you have to connect extension leads of up to 20 m somewhere near the neighbor. There are no size restrictions for tents. The kitchens are sometimes crowded. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated and simply dirty. This is because they are only cleaned at lunchtime.Käännetty automaattisesti.
