"Beautiful place - A beautiful place on the fjord, unfortunately the pitches are too close together, so that the neighbor can always look at your plate, unfortunately we did not like this, which is why we left early. The sanitary facilities and the pitch are in a very nice and clean condition. The place is small but nice.

"Pure relaxation with a view of the fjord - It is one of the cleanest places I have ever traveled to. The sanitary facilities are very good in concept, there are nine family bathrooms and one handicapped. If you have a fjord pitch you have a fantastic view of a wonderful sunset. I would also like to mention the super friendly and helpful owners who speak very good German.

"Worth visiting again. - Very well maintained inside and out. Nice bathrooms in abundance. Lovely playground. Great location to the fjord and cozy old town.

"Top place, one of the best in Denmark - Location and cleanliness top. Unfortunately it has its price (EUR 35,--/night) but very recommendable. Close to the city, interesting museum train (Sundays). Was not our last visit there.

" - Great location, right down to the fjord and within walking distance to Mariager town, the salt center and marina. Good excursion options including Dania, Hobro, Hvidsten Kro and Randers Rainforest. The veteran railway has a terminus right by the campsite and runs through and along the campsite Very cozy when the old steam locomotive chugs along. The site has a very friendly and welcoming host couple who will do everything to fulfill the guests' wishes. The campsite is divided into smaller sections, which gives a good atmosphere as there are not many permanent residents gathered in one place. The kitchen, showers and toilets are clean and tidy, and there is now an outdoor kitchen with barbecue and a covered terrace with dining area. We have used this space very often and have always been extremely satisfied with our stay.

Welcome to Mariager Camping Freedom on the banks of the Fjord - at the egde of the Wood and in the middle of the town... We are looking forward to seeing you Mariager Camping is situated on the banks of …Mariager Fjord, surrounded by Woods and with only 300 meters to the city centre. Mariager Camping, with its Unique location right on the banks of Mariager Fjord, is the obvious choice for modern families and active elderly persons, who want a high-quality vacation in quiet and peaceful surroundings. The campsite is a good starting point for excursions, nature adventures, bike tours and relationships across generations. You can walk to the centre of the iddyllic old town within two minutes, Mariager with the old paving stones, half-timbered houses and hollyhocks, or to the marina, which in the summer season buzzes with activity, We cooperate with golf and tennis clobs, offer kayak and bike rental. We have ideal opportunity for sport fishing, hiking and bike tours - all at or near by the campsite. We cherish the environment - and have obtained the European Eco-label.
