The ground in the area for water hikers is a disaster, it is rock-hard, consists only of filled gravel and it is only possible to put pegs in the ground here with enormous effort.Käännetty automaattisesti. - Sandra K.August 2021PositiivisetThe campsite is in a quiet location but would be more suitable for pensioners than for younger age groups. You can go fishing and walking.NegatiivisetNo shopping facilities, no activities, small square where you can see everything in 10 minutes. You get the feeling that children are not wanted. For the shower you pay 1€ for 6 min.Vacation 2021We won't be visiting this campsite again as you have already explored everything in 10 minutes. You get bored and wait until the time is up.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Michael M.August 2020PositiivisetLocation on Röddelinsee clean sanitary facilities large pavilion with charging facilities for batteriesNegatiivisetNo enforcement of the night's rest Almost no shade for tents Tents densely packed Lake access practically only at the campsite bathing area (boats are moored at the other entrances) no food supply apart from the bakery cart no or only unreliable opening gastronomy nearby Service and friendliness were certainly not invented hereBeautifully situated, but...The site is beautifully situated: directly on the Röddelinsee with a bathing area. In this respect, the term "nature camping" is perhaps justified. There are numerous permanent camper pitches. On arrival, guests (cyclists and campers) had to wait until someone came (even after calling the mobile phone... number provided). The reception doesn't seem to have fixed opening hours, it depends more on how much the groundskeeper wants to do. There is no shade for the tent. In any case, the idea of service was not invented on this site.
When asked about the night's rest (in view of a group of young people with tents), it was confirmed that it would be enforced as a matter of course, especially as the groundskeeper was staying on the pitch. Unfortunately, there was no sign of this on either night: whether it was neighbors loudly playing Yahtzee on the Resopalt tables, coolers running all night long in front of the motorhome or marital quarrels: the night was over at four o'clock in the morning. Mind you, it wasn't the teenagers who were making a ruthless noise, but adult campers who weren't even able to lower their voices.
Nothing was to be seen or heard from the site management. It is clear that it is not quiet at 10 pm on warm summer nights, but after midnight it should be possible to enforce a certain amount of peace and quiet. This is of course an individual experience, but it is the only one that can be reported here.
The noise disturbance is of course also increased by the fact that the tents are close together.
Incidentally, loud motorboats also sail across the lake between sunrise and late into the night, which doesn't have much to do with "nature" either.
The remote location (approx. 6 km to Templin, a nice little town) and the lack of or unreliable opening of restaurants mean that you have to be well prepared for supplies, as there is no kiosk on the site.Käännetty automaattisesti. - Gregor v.August 2016PositiivisetVery quiet location!NegatiivisetContainer toilet facility. But it was always clean despite the well-filled site!Very nice and quiet placeDespite the campsite being full at the beginning of August, it was also quiet at the weekend. I would therefore recommend this site to anyone looking for peace and relaxation! A bakery van is only noticeable in the morning at 6.40 am with a short honk. You can buy fresh bread and rolls there during the... high season. But the nearest supermarket in Templin is only 5.5 km away! Most of the pitches are occupied by friendly permanent campers. The toilet facilities are housed in two containers, one for the ladies and one for the men. Unfortunately, the showers only have a communal changing room. You don't notice this from the outside at first, as they are surrounded by a beautiful wooden building. Even if such facilities are of a somewhat simpler nature, they were always clean. The chemical toilet outlet is located behind the reception at the second sanitary container above. Most of the pitches for tourists are located on the shadeless meadow by the bathing area, with very few under the trees that otherwise cover the rest of the site. We would love to come back to this site!Käännetty automaattisesti.
