You do not sleep on mattresses but on foam, the back screams, and there is wind everywhere through inwards doors jammed totally you can hardly lock. Toilets not clean you get disgusted, shit on toilet paper on the floor, sanitary towels. It is close to motorway, clean, big, with lots of space for tents. The personel is very kind. We loved the vending mashine with all the urgent food. 😊The nature in and around the campsite is beautiful. Would recommend and we will be back!

Very long distances to the wash house, where dishes can also be washed. No store, self-service machine empty. Completely overworked staff in the restaurant. Food so-so...just fast food.Bad sanitary conditionsThe price for two people with a caravan is between €40 and €50 in the high season and is not justified for the conditions and facilities.

You can get in and out quickly with your dog through 4 gates. The sanitary facilities range from okay to good.
Since they are not closed for cleaning, the cleaning team has a really hard time. Due to the traffic-favorable... location it has of course also the noises. Good catering and bread service. I miss a store. The vending machine is no substitute. My excursion tip is the Fassberg Airlift Museum. My conclusion. Good value for money. But there is still room for improvement. Very friendly staff, bread roll service. "Erdinger" restaurant with a small menu (in particular 4 different pizzas, 2 different tarte flambées).
At the weekend, many people used the sanitary facilities at the bathing pond,... which meant that they were dirty with sand in the evening. Only cold water was available for washing up, the large sanitary building was not yet ready for use. What a pity.
You can hear the cars, at least on the pitches on the beach, but not too loudly.

Plus for cleanliness, well-kept site with small, clean shower and toilet blocks scattered around the site (also clean), all areas and pitches well-kept and spacious. Large pitches by the lake! Unfortunately there is still no large wash house but small sanitary huts with WC & shower. There is not much space and few storage options for things. But otherwise ok!
The staff is very nice and... tries to do everything possible to make the guests happy.
The Heide Park and the Outlet Soltau are very close. Everything is also easy to reach by bike.
There is no store on the site but there is a bread roll service and two snack/drink vending machines. The site is large and still has many possibilities to change. The new playground is very big and great for kids! We would love to come back and see what the site has become. Playground, sports field and small swimming lake. Very friendly operators and staff. Nice beer garden with snacks. Great excursion possibilities as well as hiking and cycling tours directly from the campsite.NegatiivisetDue to the proximity to the A7, traffic noise is constantly audible. No restaurant directly on site, approx. 5 km away. Too few places to wash up.Whitsun in the Lüneburg HeathWe spent very nice Whitsun days on this site. The standard plus pitches are unfortunately a bit small despite the overall size of the site. There are small wooden huts with toilets and showers everywhere, all very clean. The operators are extremely friendly and helpful. You immediately feel at home.... There is a bread roll service and two vending machines with snacks, drinks and regional products. There are great hiking and cycling routes directly from the campsite. If the weather is bad, you can visit the Soltau outlet with its numerous stores. Nothing has been done to the course for 10 years, now we are stepping on the gas. Not slowly, but continuously in the direction of 4 stars. At least that's the impression I got.
Space for children on two mini beaches by the lake, on the new... playground and scattered around the campsite.
Bread roll service in the morning, beer feeling in the Bavarian beer garden in the afternoon (only outside due to the coronavirus) - what's missing is a kiosk selling ice cream.
The ideal place for motorhomes on the plateau at the reception and for tourist campers in the forest by the lake.
Let's see how this site develops over the next few months. There are problems with satellite reception at the lake and the site still has no WLAN.Käännetty automaattisesti.
