The campsite is somewhat hidden behind exhibition halls, but is therefore quite well shielded from the city noise and therefore reasonably quiet. The city center can also be reached quite quickly on foot, about 2 km walk. The CP including sanitary facilities was in good condition. The operators were friendly. Infrastructure great, but not very clean during the day due to the size of the site. It is advisable to arrive in good time, as the demand seems to be high. Dogs are welcome and there is plenty of room to walk then. Ca. 20 minutes on foot across the river and you are in the old town of Riga - a big plus! Camping is clean, security guard is present 24/7. Werner S.June 2017PositiivisetClose to the city center on foot Old town approx. 40 minutes yet quietNegatiivisetNo parking space available after 4 pm - huge daily turnover of guests; WIFI far too expensiveperfect locationClose to the city, yet quiet, flat and shadeless CP; the lack of shade was not a problem at the end of June, as it cools down well at night; 40 minutes walk to the old town; shopping center only a few hundred meters away; from 4 pm there was already no more space available, although there are 140 pitches... and a tent meadow; the place is guarded 24 hours; there is a huge turnover of guests coming and going on the site every day; nevertheless, the staff is friendly and helpful; it is all the more astonishing how clean the sanitary facilities were and that there was enough hot water; the toilets with small washbasins are housed in 2 containers and toilets, large washbasins and showers in the sanitary building (see photo); for a city campsite, the toilets and showers are located in 2 containers (see photo). Photo); for a city campsite, the 22 euros for 2 people, pitch and electricity are fine; the only significant disadvantage is that 3 euros/day for WIFI is no longer up to date; the old town of Riga is fabulously beautiful (see photo)Käännetty automaattisesti.

CP is located in the commercial center, all around you can see chimneys and industrial plants. Nobody comes here to relax, but to see the beautiful city of Riga. Therefore, cramped pitches are normal. Despite the crowds, the sanitary facilities... were clean and the staff were courteous and helpful. You can definitely get by with English. There is a bus stop nearby, so you don't have to rely solely on your feet and cabs. There is a large shopping center nearby for shopping.Käännetty automaattisesti.

Staff helpful, at the time of our visit (17-19.7.2016) it was full, they offered us a parking space on the gravel area at the back of the campsite. In the end we had new, clean toilet and toilets closer than others - they are part of the sanitary hub just in the back. Price 19,--Euro per night (2 adults, caravan, electricity, Wi-Fi). Showers too. Very friendly staff. City tour of 1.5 h possible by bus directly from the CP, recommended. You can return to the... campsite or get off just before the end of the trip in the town. Discovered a great little restaurant near the campsite, right on the water. Shopping facilities approx. 10 min walk, huge center, there is really everything. A green area for tents next to the entrance. Unfortunately, there is no shade at all. The sanitary facilities are partly in a hall, partly in two containers, but are quite... clean for a transit site. Relatively quiet at night. Guarded throughout. Only two basins with cold water in the open air for washing up. The city center is within easy walking distance (about 2.5 km). Staff are friendly and well informed; English-speaking.
