"Not suitable for us - Checking in turned out to be a game of patience due to the large crowds arriving on Saturday. Due to the daily barrier closure during the rest period from 13:30 to 16:00, there was a long queue of arriving guests. Only the local language and English are spoken at reception, although a German-speaking member of staff was also present at times. Two thirds of the campsite consists of mobile homes; the site is not designed for caravan campers due to the narrowness of the connecting roads. The camping area is directly adjacent to a railroad line with heavy traffic day and night. You can choose between proximity to the amphitheater/sports field or the railroad line. It is difficult to find a quiet spot on the beach where the loudspeaker-supported guest entertainment is not annoying, and the gently sloping, beautiful, clean beach is ideal for long walks. Beach loungers and parasols are reserved for guests staying in vacation homes. The WiFi internet connection is not very stable and only works in three limited areas. A restaurant with service is available for guests who have booked full or half board. Day guests have the option of using a self-service restaurant, which resembles a canteen. Due to the child-friendly layout of the campsite, the noise level in the dining room is correspondingly high. However, there is the option of using the pizza service in the service restaurant. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. The sanitary facilities are available in sufficient numbers and are cleaned regularly. However, the sanitary facilities are getting on in years and are based on the simplest, impracticable standard. I cannot recommend the site to campers with caravans, tents or motorhomes looking for peace and quiet.

" - I only visited this campsite for one day. First impression: very well maintained campsite - ideal for kids. Sanitary: old and not well maintained Pitch: for 5 meter caravans it works, because the size is 6 x 10 meters. Whereby 6 meters is the width !!! Almost impossible to set up a normal caravan with an awning. Therefore an absolute no go for us. Beach: Average with a small beach bar. Very narrow, as there are a lot of sun loungers. Pool: Quite nice Conclusion: Anyone who has already camped in Northern Italy will not be happy with this site. The pitches are only 60 square meters and more long than wide. Furthermore, the sanitary building is not to be recommended.

The “Salinello” Holiday Complex offers a pleasant outdoors holiday, in the peace and quite of its greenery. The excellent geographical position favours the best possible trips in the Abruzzo inland rich in history, art and good cuisine. Bar, ice-cream shop, tobacconist’s, market, butcher’s, greengrocer’s, restaurant, self service, pizzeria, info point, photograph, bazar, newsstand, hairdresser, barbecue, letterbox, bancomat, Internet Point, Ping-pong and table football room, TV room, bike and pedal-boat hire, Amphitheatre with 1.500 places to sit, theatre, disco, cinema, organized entertainment (about from 01.06 till 07.09), ambulatory with free medical and paediatric consultation, service of vigilance with private guardian, Holy Mass, 3 swimming pools, heated bath basin for children and plunge basin (lessons available), whirlpool, 2 tennis courts (lessons available), minigolf , archery (free lessons), 2 italian bowling ground, path fitness, multipurpose ground (basket and volleyball), soccer: 5 vs. 5 and 2 vs. 2 players, beach volley, playground, mini club and cableway for children. At 1 Km away: Kart, minimotorbike. Animals not allowed. The Green of the Village is treated with low environmental impact.
