"Camping in the forest - We stopped here on our round trip to visit the castle construction site in Guedelon. Our pitch was practically in the middle of the forest. But there are also other pitches that are not so heavily shaded. This site is highly recommended.

"Beautiful campsite - We spent a good 3 weeks criss-crossing France and have never experienced a campsite that is so highly recommended. Humanity and friendliness prevail here. We particularly liked the many small practical details, such as the baguette at the motorhome and the equipment in the wash house. Tine and Ulf Bartel

"Beautiful, quiet campsite - Au Bois Joli is a quiet, green campground that is a good place to stay. The pool is pleasant and the emplacements are fairly large and shaded.

" - We had a wonderful overnight stay at the Au Bois Joli campsite in September 2012. Ten of us came with bicycles on a tour of Burgundy. It's a beautiful woodland campsite on a hillside that provides plenty of shade in hot temperatures. It was one of our favorites on our tour. The campsite is very quiet with no road or train noise. The swimming pool was gigantic and offered us a welcome way to cool off in the shade at 30 degrees. Everything was very clean. There is a small kiosk where you can buy food. You can also buy stamps, maps and much more. The nearest supermarket is several kilometers away. Larger groups of cyclists should therefore stock up on food beforehand. " - Wijn zijn na twee dagen vertrokken door de aflatende regelzucht van de eigenaars. Upon arrival, we received a clear guide that stated on page 1 that they did not want to set any rules but only wanted to make a few changes for a pleasant stay. The pages thereafter contain a non-exhaustive list of rules and the campsite is also full of rules and regulations. De camping afficheert zich als kindvriendelijk maar daar is in de praktijk niets van te merken. On arrival, the swimming pool was still not open in June (!) and it was still warm; not suitable for young children. In addition, there was no inlevingsvermogen van de eigenaar toen het weer omsloeg en wij met een klein kind wat maatregelen (geultje) hadden genomen om te voorkomen dat er water de tent in zou stromen. De camping is mooi gelegen op een helling maar bij rain stroomt er zeer veel water naar beneden omdat de kleffe klei-bodem geen water opneemt. Geen enkele plek is vlak.

" - We spent a few wonderful days here in the fall of 2011 and the place is a green, quiet island with friendly management. Even the towns and landscapes in the surrounding area convey peace and history.

Profil

Camping ‘Au Bois Joli’ is a green and quiet family camping with enough shadow and 88 spacious pitches, varying from 100 to 200 m². We are open from 1-4 untill 1-10. There is an open-air swimming pool (up to 2.60 …metres deep) and a paddling pool for children. Old cities, such as Vezelay (on the pilgrims' route to Santiago de Compostella), Autun, Avallon and Auxerre are certainly worth a visit, as is Guedelon! Besides for her cultural wealth, the Bourgogne is also widely known for her gastronomy and wines. In short: there's something for everyone!

Upute

When coming from Auxerre, you take the N 151 (Bourges). In Coulanges-sur- Yonne you go to the left near the traffic light, and take the D 39 to Andryes. After about 3 Km in the centre of Andryes (just before …the church) you take a sharp left-hand turn and then go in the direction of Villeprenoy. Follow the road until you arrive at the camping site after about 500 meters. When coming from Nevers (the South), you take the N151. In Coulanges-sur-Yonne you go to the left near the second traffic light and take the D39 to Andryes. Than follw de signs ‘campsite’.
