"Campsite only worth 2 stars for me - The campsite is not too satisfactory for me. The pitches for caravans are ok, but there is no shopping center, no bakery, no washing machines. The sanitary facilities are not the best. What bothers me personally is that dogs are allowed but there is not even a dog toilet. The dog has to go to any of the neighboring plots. Then there is not even a place where I can shower or wash off the dog. They are not allowed on the beach either. All in all, we were here from the end of August to the beginning of September (2 weeks) 2017, but will not come here again. It is also dirty outside the resort. Not recommended for me.

"Summer vacation 2015 - The campsite is located in the middle of Vias-Plage. There are no parking spaces to park your vehicle when you register. However, you are allowed to park on the access road (on the site) and will be instructed by security. The reception is friendly and English is also spoken. As far as I could see, the pitches were all very shady thanks to the good tree population and the ground is sandy and we had to clear away a few small stones for our tent to protect the ground. The sanitary blocks worked except for the water for washing up. No matter what time it was never really hot unfortunately only lukewarm which was surprisingly not the case with the showers and they are in the same building. The animation is unfortunately only in French which is understandable as I hardly saw any foreign guests. Unfortunately, the entertainers don't realize that foreigners can also speak their language. When I saw my license plate, the neighbor was addressed. I guess people like to keep to themselves. However, this behavior did not apply to the other guests. The swimming pool is not very big and not suitable for swimming anyway due to the many children, but with a lifeguard who even clears away towels to free up loungers, it's a good change from the beach or for a quick dip. The evening program goes on every evening until midnight and echoes across the whole campsite. Apart from this point, however, it is very quiet. The restaurant on site is also OK. Except for one day a week there was a special meal which was prepared right at the entrance. The supermarket next door really has everything at acceptable prices in Vias there is a larger market, but we only used it once. There is also a bakery next door and the next one is a 3 minute walk away. It's not very wide but it wasn't overcrowded either and there was always a space. All in all, the place is not bad and for what is on offer, whether you like it or not, the price is right.

"Nice and shady - Due to the nightly entertainment on the stage near the entrance and exit of the campsite, a pitch in this corner is not recommended for campers in need of peace and quiet. Nevertheless, you can find a shady and quiet spot on the spacious terrain. The walk to the sea is only 3-5 minutes, the beach is relatively crowded, but acceptable. Swimming in the sea is very good there. If you prefer wide Danish sandy beaches, this is not the place for you. There are mainly French people on the campsite, who celebrate the vacations every evening. However, the atmosphere is nice and informal. The showers and toilets are okay, but do not meet a 4-star standard, but rather 1 - 2 stars. The campsite is guarded at night and is quiet after midnight. The "town" of Vias Plage is touristy and not particularly "French", so a trip to the northern, mountainous regions is well worthwhile. The pool is relatively small and only English or French is spoken at reception. On the Farret (opposite the campsite) there should also be German animation and a larger, nicer pool. Oh yes, the children's "supervision" is also only in French, and more suitable for school children (8-12 years). All in all, we have not found a better campsite in the region and can recommend it for a stopover of 4-8 days!

" - This year we had a great vacation at this campsite. we just had a little problem with the security service, but after all, that's what brings us peace and quiet. we've had the best vacation since we've been here. the atmosphere is top-notch. even if you can't always please everyone, these people go out of their way to make sure you have an unforgettable stay. the welcome at reception is fantastic, and if you have the slightest problem, they're there to help you. to be recommended to all families.
