Very nice, small campground with large sites and campfire place
With a group of 4 families during the Whitsun weekend camped here. because of the very spacious spots that were also at side by side we could all cook, eat etc together.

The campsite is car free (except arrival and departure) so the children (1 t / m 8 years) could safely walk and play here. because... the site was closed with a gate the children could not just walk on the road.

The small scale of the campsite and no fixed pitches gives the campsite a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

For the age of our children there is not much play opportunities outside the lawn. not that the children were bored because they had each other. a play area would complete the campsite for us.

The campfire place is nice and spacious with also benches and chairs there so you can use this together with the other guests. the present BBQ grill on the 3 leg is really practical if you want to cook on the fire or in the evening still want to bake a snack.
The only downside is that this spot is only separated from the camping spot behind by a low hedge. Because of this, the people who camp there quickly find it annoying if you are still chatting quietly by the fire after 11:00 pm. (Of course, this will depend on who has reserved the spot and if it is occupied.

The manager gives you a crate of wood to fire. but if other guests have already fetched it and cooked on it, for example, it is quickly exhausted and you can have nothing. we did not manage to speak to the manager (we did not see him in the evening) to ask if there was a possibility for more wood.
