My heart beats for this great place in the middle of a volcanic landscape - a wonderful balance for the soul, which is not far away and yet so different - by the way, on a clear day you can see Frankfurt's local mountain, about 80 km away :).Automatski prevedeno.

You can find riding stables nearby or treat yourself to a wellness program in one of the nearby health resorts - sauna, thermal baths etc.. All in all, Hutten, Steinau and the surrounding villages are not yet overrun by tourists, which makes this area and its inhabitants particularly endearing.Negativne straneI hope that the campsite in Heiligenborn and all guests will find a tenant for the adjacent Jägerhof by next season who can cook just as well as the former landlady of the Alte Post in Hutten. Joschi served good home cooking - all dishes were home-cooked, and you felt welcome "just like at mummy's" - at least her cooking was known for that. I miss a similarly good menu and the opportunity to enjoy a freshly tapped beer in Hutten.Pure relaxation in a beautiful landscapeA paradise for all those who can be perfectly happy even, or especially, without an entertainment program and leisure events.
Those who love the absolute silence in Hutten's spicy air under the stars - as well as a family atmosphere, occasional celebrations, laughter, children and dogs, cows, goats,... chickens and roosters ... (in the immediate vicinity) as an enrichment, can take a deep breath here and feel completely at ease.
The pitches are laid out in such a way that they offer enough privacy in the midst of plenty of greenery without looking like fortresses. The entire campsite is lovingly planted and cared for.
Last but not least, it is down to the ambitious owner family, all three generations of whom contribute their ideas and energy, which gives this place a special charm.
You really do feel at home in these beautiful and refreshing surroundings, especially thanks to the unobtrusive hospitality.Automatski prevedeno.

Very nice, clean and essentially modern sanitary facilities, daily bread roll service, pitches partly on terraces and also partly suitable for larger caravans and motorhomes. Very friendly and helpful host family. "Bergrestaurant" with very good... cuisine within walking distance. Campsite is surrounded by greenery, access road quite bumpy. Bread roll service on site and a butcher on the road also comes by. Vinzenz T.oktober 2011Dobre straneQuiet location, good for excursions and hikes in the surrounding area.Negativne straneShopping facilities a little further away.Quiet campsite for hikersThis is a campsite that is open all year round and is located somewhat remotely in beautiful natural surroundings on a mountainside at an altitude of around 450 m near the Heiligenborn tourist area. The approach to the site is a little awkward, but it is still easy to find. There are around 50 pitches... for tourists on the campsite, which is mainly used by permanent campers (around 120). The approx. 80 to 100 m² parceled out pitches are usually easy to access, otherwise the friendly family who run the site are happy to help with a tractor. Prices are very moderate, ranging from around €18.00 to €23.00 depending on the size of the pitch. The site is laid out in terraces on an area of approx. 5 hectares and has two sanitary buildings of different ages, both of which are in a tidy and clean condition. The facilities are of average German standard. A washing machine is available. Dishwashing sinks are located directly behind the residential building in the entrance area where the reception is also located. There is also a small restaurant there, but it was closed at the time of our stay at the end of Sept. beginning of Oct. You can go on beautiful hikes directly from the campsite. I assume that this was not the last time we visited this campsite. From here you can easily explore and hike the surrounding region as far as Fulda, Bad Orb, Schlüchtern and Jossgrund in the beautiful Spessart. Conclusion: overall recommendable.Automatski prevedeno.
