"Good location but outdated sanitary facilities and small pitches - The site has been described many times and, in my opinion, is completely overrated. There are many small pitches, some of which are caravan to caravan/mobile home. There are also 1st row pitches on the beach and by the fishing pond. Electricity connections all still with outdated Schuko sockets and sometimes adventurous distribution boards for campers. The roads have many large potholes and are muddy after rain. The sanitary buildings are from the 70s, open construction therefore always draughty and very cold, especially in the morning in the low season. Showers are very uncomfortable. The showers only have a small anteroom in the main building for changing and putting things away, the small buildings at the back have showers without an anteroom, you can't even change, everything gets wet. The water is also only lukewarm. The supermarket has delicious baked goods and the prices are okay. Only other things, such as drinking water in bottles or canisters, are completely overpriced. The restaurant is not necessary, there are many really good restaurants in town. WLan costs 20 euros per week and is often overloaded/slow. There are also rental bungalows on the site. Unfortunately there are a lot of dogs on the site and also on the beach, apparently every dog owner needs 2 or more dogs nowadays, there are just too many. The access road from the traffic circle at the beginning of the village is very long and narrow. It takes about 15 minutes by bike to get to the stores (Lidl, Aldi, supermarkets). The price-performance ratio is no longer good compared to places with modern sanitary facilities in the region. We won't be back because of the cold showers.

"Deposit disappeared despite confirmation on the reservation - We have a confirmed reservation with the note "200,-€ deposit received". In spite of a timely, sickness-related cancellation (5o,- € are retained for processing) there is no refund, the money has disappeared. Even deposit slips from the bank had no effect. Even after the managing director contacted me by telephone and the money has probably turned up, nothing has happened. A case for legal protection. Too bad.

"Vacation for sandy beach enthusiasts - We spent a very nice, relaxing three-week vacation here in September. We know Empuriabrava from previous years when we didn't have a camper van. We have already stayed at the Rubina Resort campsite, where we also felt very comfortable. However, as we have two dogs, the Laguna campsite is more suitable. The huge sandy beach is a dream and only a few steps away from the campsite. During our vacation, both the sanitary facilities and the beach etc. were very clean. It always depends on the guests. Despite the many dogs, everything was very well-kept and the dog owners were conscientious. We give the Laguna 5 stars (despite the poor food in the restaurant). We would love to come back and stay as long as we can.

"Huge campsite in a great location with many weaknesses - In a fantastic location with many weaknesses Huge facility that resembles a mass camping factory. Very clean sanitary facilities. The staff speak very good German - in general they are very well prepared for the German camper, which is also reflected in the organization of typical German festivities such as the Oktoberfest with swaying and humtata music. Cheap rates for pensioners in the low season mean that this demographic settles there in droves, preferably Germans and long-term campers. We felt like we were in a joke movie about long-term campers. Block guards everywhere. A pity really. The campsite is in a fantastic location on a beautiful beach, a lagoon and a nature reserve. Just don't look in the direction of Empuriabrava, the high-rise buildings there are terrible. This location is ideal for dog owners. We really enjoyed it, only the eternally grumpy permanent campers spoiled our vacation enjoyment. Conclusion: it's a site that you can only go to in the early or late season, if at all, because then you have all the pensioners but in the high season it will certainly be far too full and too cramped with the density of pitches. We won't be visiting the site again. There are certainly better places in the region. Better quality than quantity.

"More dogs than people - We have been coming for more than 10 years... But we are now forced to reorient ourselves. The trend here is clearly towards five dogs... For 2 motorcycles on the pitch in 14 days 120,-- in the low season, which are moved every 2 days and otherwise stand quietly and without excrements in the corner are usurious.... A brand new sanitary building that is in need of renovation after one season speaks volumes... The quality of the restaurant has been "subterranean" for years and nothing changes... Sorry, but next year we'll drive a few kilometers further...

"Price/performance is no longer right - I've been coming to CP laguna from time to time since 1972. A nice place in itself, but this year I had to pay EURO 50 !!! plus persons for the pitch in September, i.e. out of season. That is simply too much. So I won't be coming again.
