Vacation at the Roma camp
Were there for 2 nights in May, but only because of illness, otherwise we would have left immediately. There is a parking lot between the campsite and the sea. To get to the tourist pitches, you have to walk through the permanent pitches, which are tightly packed with plastic. My impression was that... I was in the middle of a Roma camp. Loud, chaotic, dirty. The surrounding houses, at least 4-5 storeys high, look directly onto the pitch. Huge bumps every 10 meters, you have to be afraid for your vehicle. Sanitary facilities were fine and kept reasonably clean. Not suitable for more than an overnight stay. I didn't even see the supermarket open during the 2 days, despite the opening times being posted.

Overnight camping site
We ended up at this campsite for one night after a long drive. As usual, we got a good rate with Asci, but the area turned us off completely. We left the site briefly and found it dreadful. OK as an overnight campsite

Directly on site. Shopping Shopping. Directly on the beach. Very clean sanitary facilities.

In August, the Feria (fair) takes place right on the square. It is then very loud until the morning. I don't know the date for 2014.
Optimal place for vacation. Avoid vacation times unless you have children
The site is small and very clean. Water and electricity at every pitch. From the Feria site you are right in the town, from there there are also bus connections to Malaga. There is a large, beautiful beach to the right of the site. With showers. You don't need a supermarket here. You can also take a wonderful stroll in the evening. At night: guarded and illuminated.

Not a place for a dream vacation, we won't be back. Main drawback, the sad "beach" consists of dark, coarse and large pebbles, it is about 150 m from the campsite entrance, on a dusty road. If you camp on the elongated CP at the back (in front everything is occupied by Spanish permanent campers who probably... only come at the weekends), you have about 500 m to walk to the water. The 2 sanitary facilities are ok, WC with seat and 2 paper rolls in the corridor. But only 3 out of 6 washbasins (men's) have hot water. The shade mats over all the pitches are nice, but they are quite small. There is also a playground and a small pool (approx. 10x21m), but that doesn't really make up for it. Neither does the free WLAN on all pitches (for 1 device per pitch). The supermarket is small but well stocked, very friendly service!

The elongated site is also located on the outskirts of Torre del about 400 m from the campsite of the same name. The 160 pitches are covered with sandy soil and a little gravel and are quite small at approx. 70 m². The medium-high trees provide shade. As the pitches are not separated by hedges, some... guests (permanent campers) have demarcated the pitches with plastic mats. The nice pictures on the website do not reflect reality. The swimming pool is very small. The beach is about 200 m away via a huge parking lot.
