"Mobile homes" sometimes very crampedbeautiful base in ValgaudemarThe campsite is located halfway between St. Firmin at the entrance to the valley and Chapelle, the last village in the valley. The hiking areas can be reached quickly, some of them directly from the campsite. The site is quite shady below the little-used road. Ideal in summer, but in fall it takes a... long time for the sun to reach the campsite. There is a swimming pool and a barbecue area on site. As far as I know, it is the only site in the valley that rents out "mobile homes" (living containers) (approx. €50). These are fully equipped, albeit a little angled, and suitable for 2-4 people.) The sanitary facilities are small but adequate. The available space in the bedroom is also almost entirely taken up by the bed. This can be a problem for people with limited mobility. The mattresses are ultra-soft, which is not everyone's cup of tea. There is a heating system, which will probably provide sufficient warmth until the campsite closes in October. The kitchen is functional and quite fully equipped. There is no final cleaning fee, but proper cleaning is expected when you move out. The operators are extremely friendly and helpful. The kiosk offers snacks and drinks. There is a bakery directly in the village above the campsite (3 min walk). Shopping facilities in St. Firmin or Chapelle (each approx. 8km)Automatski prevedeno.
