"Great for two nights - Great for visiting the grottos and the Dinopark with children. The playground is past its best (broken baby swing, broken slide, protruding screws). The sanitary facilities are old but clean and there is plenty of hot water. The site is not parceled out and the pitches are quite sloping (high wedges), but some have grating (plastic). Bread roll service in the nearby restaurant. There are no shopping facilities nearby.

"Quiet, natural campsite right next to the grottos - Simple campsite which offers everything you need. Sanitary facilities very clean, no space problems in spring. Pitches are not parceled out. Meals can be taken in the nearby restaurant.

"Remote campsite on the border with France - Beautiful place without traffic. Visavis is the grotto and the Dino Park as an ideal leisure opportunity. No shopping facilities on the square or in the vicinity, but if you know this, you can make the right choice. There is a restaurant opposite with mid-priced meals. More suitable for families with children

"Total peace and relaxation - ideal especially with (smaller) children - Extremely secluded, natural and quiet campsite. A clear recommendation for total peace and quiet. Nothing distracts or disturbs. The attractions in the vicinity of the campsite are the beautiful grotto, which is definitely worth a visit. Also, especially for (younger) children, the Prehisto-Park (dinosaur models in the forest, with explanations to read), with the attraction of the suspension bridge over a small lake. There are also horses, as well as opportunities for hiking, cycling and a signposted scooter route. Occasionally there is a bus (post bus), otherwise only visitors to the grotto and the associated beautiful and good hotel/restaurant. Barbecue area next to the campsite open to the public. There is nothing else, so nobody disturbs the peace and quiet here. The guests are mainly families with (small) children, mainly from Switzerland. Most stay for a few days. Practically no permanent campers. There are several yurts and wooden houses for rent, which tend to be well frequented. Otherwise it is really quiet here, even in the high season there are usually still plenty of free pitches on the large, beautiful open meadow area, surrounded by beautiful forests and trees. The pitches are almost all a little uneven, you have to level them out for caravans. Top: A free public fridge is available to camping guests, as well as washing lines for drying laundry. Breakfast can be ordered in advance in the neighboring restaurant. Lunch and dinner a la carte possible in this restaurant with a beautiful terrace. Electricity: Only Swiss plugs fit, otherwise an adapter is required! Sanitary infrastructure: In August 2016, we found the showers, toilets and washbasin cubicles to be spotlessly clean and as good as new. You immediately feel at home in the well-kept, modern and spacious sanitary facilities. We would describe these as exemplary. We would love to come back!

"Secluded, quiet and very simple - We spent one night with our children 1, 4, 6 in a tent at the campsite at the beginning of August 2015. The aim was to visit the caves and the Dinorundweg while passing through. The campsite is secluded. We were on our own. Car right next to the tent. Site only level near sanitary facilities. 2-3 caravans on the designated meadow. Jutten and bungalows very well frequented. Restaurant at the entrance to the campsite, but no kiosk or shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity. No freezer for cool packs. Clean, small sanitary building. Perfectly adequate for a one-night stopover. Website and photos reflect the impression gained.
