"Lovely, quiet family campground - Campground is wonderfully quiet. Shaded by trees and bushes. Very clean and tidy. With swimming pool, trampoline, bouncy castle, mini golf, boules, bicycle rental, rental of tables, chairs, refrigerators and baby items. Very nice campground managers who also cook for their guests. Top camping.

"Small, quiet site with large plots - In contrast to the pitches directly on the Atlantic, it is very quiet here. Both on the pitch and in the surrounding area. There is a small, surprisingly good snack bar and fresh baked goods every morning, at least in the high season. Despite full occupancy, it was very quiet on the pitch. In addition to the small stores in the village, there is also a large supermarket nearby, so that inexpensive survival is guaranteed. Although you have to drive 8 km to the sea by car or by bike on the existing cycle paths, it is also less windy and sandy on the site.

" - Very nice campsite. About 8km to the beach (Montalivet Les Bains). Very friendly staff (family business). Large pitches, good sanitary facilities. Certainly one of the better 3*** campsites. If we go there again, this will be our choice again.

The Campsite "Les Peupliers" is close to Vendays-Montalivet in the region of Gironde (33) Only 1 hour from Bordeaux and 20 minutes from the town of Soulac by the sea and 8 minutes from the ocean and fine sandy beaches …at Montalivet. If you arrive from the NORTH : - Take the car-ferry from Royan (information in 00 33 (0)5 46 38 35 15) - From Le Verdon port follow direction Lesparre take the N215 in approximately 25 km - Turn right at the crossroads, D102 to VENDAYS-MONTALIVET - From in front of the church, by following the centre of the fire station in approximately 300m you will arrive at the site. This route using the car-ferry, is more "pleasant" and saves time, rather than driving via Bordeaux. If you arrive via BORDEAUX : - Take the direction toward MERIGNAC go left and join the bypass - Then take exit n° 8 on the bypass, in the direction to LACANAU (N215>D6). - At Ste HELENE, go to the right, D104 direction to BRACH. - Then take the D207 to CARCANS, then D3 to HOURTIN then D101 to VENDAYS-MONTALIVET. - 100m before the church, turn to the right, in front of post office, go on for 200m approximately.
