"Never again - One of the most horrible places ever . Wherever you look dirt and mud. If you tell the cleaning lady to remove the cobwebs above the door she scolds you in Hungarian and leaves. The pool is slippery, the pool supervisor is only busy with the cell phone and does exactly nothing. She doesn't even care if children stand on the slide and jump and injure themselves.

"Good campsite in a beautiful location - Well located campsite with its own beach. Very friendly service and catering staff. The private pool is great for the kids and unfortunately a bit too chlorinated for my nose. However, the campsite left a good impression and was booked for next year. Price and performance are in a good relationship.

"Beautiful family vacation on the south shore - The campsite itself is absolutely fine and can be recommended. I think it's one of the best on the south bank, even if there are even better ones on the north bank. The pitches are large enough and well demarcated. The long meadow bathing beach with direct access to Lake Balaton is particularly great. A huge bathing area just for the campsite, only a few steps away from the caravan. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The sanitary facilities in particular were very clean (even if a little dated). There is also a nice playground and volleyball court. There is a small supermarket for emergency provisions. The only drawback is that the children's entertainment and the children's pool are right on the edge, directly at the entrance. As a result, you hardly use them, although they are certainly not bad. It's just too far away from the pitches and the beach. The pool and entertainment should be more centrally located. Also missing is a small children's beach where the little ones can dig in the sand on the shore. A hairdresser on the campsite would not be bad either (there are other campsites on Lake Balaton). I also find it annoying that there is no central garbage area, but the garbage cans are scattered along the main path. This does not look nice. In the evenings, the operator could provide more peace and quiet, as young people often party loudly with music on the volleyball court on the beach until after midnight. The prices at the snack bar and restaurant are a bit too high. But otherwise, as I said, a nice place.

"Campsite Mirabella Zamardi - The place itself is very nice. The only problem is that very little German is spoken at reception. You are treated quite rudely. Last year was our 12th visit to the campsite. Unfortunately, the toilets have not been renovated. The showers are really disgusting. The price for the pitch is getting more and more expensive. So we and many other campers will not be going back to this site. What a shame, really. Washing machines are advertised on Instagram. There's one for the whole site and if you comment on it, you're immediately blocked. Absolutely not open to criticism. Without words.

"Quite alright by Hungarian standards - Affordable, clearly laid out campsite right on the lake. Short distances, the size of the pitches is sufficient. Cleanliness on the site is satisfactory, but the sanitary facilities urgently need to be renovated. Staff are always helpful if you have a request. Gastronomically you are also taken care of, but you should not expect too much (as generally in Hungary) :-)

Profil

Campsite Autós is situated in a wonderful natural environment, directly on the shore of Lake Balaton. You can get a picturesque view from here. Zamárdi is a peaceful holiday resort not far away from Siófok (about 10 km). It is …especially preferred by families with children because of its nice, shallow beach. On its territory well-kept and nice pitches (also waterside), modern sanitary blocks, shower and toilet also for the disabled as well as rentable bathrooms, a buffet and a restaurant are available for guests. The playground and the animation programmes (at certain times) promise a pleasant pastime to children. Free guided tours called ”Walks in Zamárdi” are organized every summer to show the sights to guests. Besides, there is a look-out tower on Kõhegy, which offers a wonderful view of Lake Balaton and the Somogyi hills.
