We spent two consecutive summer vacations in Locmariaquer on the campsite, the first time we liked it so much that we took on the 1600 km once again with two children instead of one.
The site is in a great location, right on a beautiful beach.

Bread can be bought on the campsite itself or from a nearby... hotel in the morning from a delivery van.
Restaurants and oyster/seafood shops are within walking distance.

If it wasn't so far away, we would come back again this year!

Spacious campsite for beach fans
Well-organized, spacious site with generous pitches separated by hedges. Access to the long sandy beach through coded gates. Friendly staff who take great care of their guests.
The pitches are largely unshaded and probably sweltering hot in midsummer.
The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but clean.... The shower water was sometimes cold in the morning.
The water points are few and far between, but we regarded the hauling of drinking and service water (we are caravan campers) as a sporting activity.
The restaurant is simply furnished, but has excellent cuisine, especially fish and seafood.
Despite the minor drawbacks described, we felt very comfortable on the site and will certainly be back.

Welcome to the south of Brittany
A campsite right on the beach on the south coast of Brittany - just go through the code-secured door, cross the road and you have the sand under your feet and the sea in front of you. The water is exceptionally clear and there is a separate bathing area where you can still stand practically anywhere.... The reception on the site is very friendly and we were given a pitch in the middle of the high season without any reservations for 21 euros per night. Bread is available on site and you can quickly cycle into the town, where a small Spar has everything you need. The sanitary facilities are pleasantly clean even in high season and it is quiet at night. Highly recommended!

Large pitches separated by hedges, the sea is easily and quickly accessible through several code-secured doors. From there, we made beautiful excursions by car to Carnac, Quiberon and Auray.

The site is separated by a narrow road and a small dune on a fine sandy and unsupervised beach. Access is via the main driveway and three separate pedestrian gates with code locks. It is divided into medium-sized plots, some of which are separated by dense hedges. Sea views are only available, if at... all, from the pitches on the beach side, which are enclosed by more or less dense hedges. Depending on your preference, you can choose between sunny and shaded plots. The ground is largely level (although some pitches are sloping) and sandy with a thin layer of grass. The sanitary facilities are spread over three well-designed and clean houses without gender segregation with large shower cubicles (water temperature adjustable) and washing machines. The campsite has a small bar/restaurant with rather average and not too expensive food. The restaurant also sells basic groceries and fresh bread. As the campsite is a good distance from the town, larger purchases have to be made elsewhere. However, there is a small store selling fresh seafood within walking distance. WIFI is available free of charge throughout the site. I found the staff to be friendly and courteous. All in all, another Camping Municipal suitable for a longer stay and well above the usual standard.

A beautifully located pitch right by the sea. We paid €17 including tourist tax in the high season with a caravan, electricity and 2 people. A great price for the location and the really large pitch. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are not separated by gender. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the beautiful beach. There are beautiful designated cycle paths that start at the site.

Beautiful, quiet campsite right by the sea with spacious pitches. The sanitary facilities could be better maintained, some of them are a bit old. Nice place (about 15 min walk to the harbor) and beautiful surroundings. Price-performance ratio is okay, can be recommended!

Beautifully situated, simple and inexpensive site with relatively large pitches. Some of the pitches on the edge of the site are very sloping.
