Not far from Mont-Saint-Michel, the Way of St. James and the Way of St. Michael run through the small village of La Croix-Avranchin. The small campsite, Camping Municipal Le Clos Ruault, is located on the edge of the village next to the Salle de Fetes. The camping meadow is grassy and planted with apple... trees, typical of Normandy. The sanitary facilities are located in the municipal building on the site and are clean and tidy. Particularly noteworthy are the granite seating areas dotted around the site. For those who want electricity, please note that you may need a very long cable. In the morning and evening, someone from the municipality comes to clean the sanitary facilities and collect money from the campers. The site has no playground or other attractions. Here you will only find peace and quiet, as well as a base for excursions in the surrounding area. The price is unbeatably low, you can set up here for just a few euros. You can do your shopping in Saint-James at SuperU or next door at Lidl, just a few kilometers from Le Croix-Avranchin. We recommend a trip to the world-famous Mont-Saint-Michel. Otherwise, the beautiful countryside is ideal for excursions.
