- Jürgen S.July 2019Dobre straneBeautiful grounds (pool, beach bars, restaurants) Surroundings, view of Saint Tropez and the bay Friendly staff Shady pitchesNegativne straneNot much is done here for campers (pitches rather small, sanitary facilities rather 2 stars)Mobile Home Hui, Camping...We stayed at Prairies de la Mer for almost 2 weeks with our caravan (total length 7.30m). Most of the pitches were rather small (approx. 60sqm), some were a little larger, and most of them were nicely shaded. Our pitch had room for our caravan and awning, and that was it. The site itself is very large... (approx. 22 hectares). I would estimate the area on which the campers are accommodated at a maximum of 2 hectares, including the sanitary building, which was underground for a 5-star site. I expect something like this on a 2 star campsite, especially in terms of cleanliness. The toilet paper had to be taken from a separate dispenser beforehand, which was often empty...after several complaints the situation improved somewhat. Waiting times for showers were very rare, but it sometimes took 2 minutes for the water to warm up. There was also no mixer tap. The "campsite manager" Julian was always eager to help wherever he could. The rest of the facilities (e.g. pool, beach, beach bars, entertainment, restaurants) absolutely correspond to a 5 star campsite. The many palm trees everywhere create a Caribbean flair.Automatski prevedeno.
- Nadia R.September 2015Dobre strane- Located directly on the beach - very nice bungalowNegativne strane- Probably overcrowded in summerBeautifully laid out Bungolow complexWe stayed at this Bungolow resort at the end of September/beginning of October. It is totally low season, but the staff were still very friendly. The sanitary facilities were also cleaned regularly. There was plenty of space on the beach. The more expensive bungalows are laid out with white sand like... in the Caribbean. Really very nice. Recommended in the fall. The whole complex is very large. I can't imagine where all the people will find space on the beach when the resort is fully booked. Also well located for excursions. The resort has a lovely wellness/sauna area.Automatski prevedeno.
- Jerry B.August 2015Dobre straneLocation, surroundingsNegativne straneSmall pitches, noisy, overcrowded, unfortunately no longer recommendedWe were there in 2013 and liked it so much that we wanted to go again this year. But unfortunately our expectations were not met! The pitches we knew no longer exist, there is only a very small area for pitches, the rest is completely filled with mobile homes for rent. There are simply too many people... on the site, plus groups of young people who are too loud. About a third of the showers didn't work, so queuing was inevitable... so it was our last time at the prairies de la merAutomatski prevedeno.
- Sabine H.April 2015Dobre straneClose to town and right on the beachNegativne straneHardly any camping pitches leftgreat locationA beautifully situated site right on the beach. When we arrived at Easter this year, we realized that there were hardly any camping pitches left. However, we can only recommend the rental accommodation. Another very positive aspect is that you can be in the town immediately. We've also been there in... the high season, but it's very noisy and crowded, so we prefer to go at Easter or in the fall. There is a large supermarket nearby where you can get everything your heart desires.Automatski prevedeno.
- Ute C.April 2015Dobre straneSunny pitches in spring, right by the seaNegativne stranenoisy coastal road, no heated sanitary facilitiesSunny pitches in spring, but short nights.Huge, beautiful and well-kept site with a very small pitch area. The pitches vary in size, are bordered by trees and are very sunny in spring. We looked at 3 other pitches, but they were too shady for us. The sanitary building is of open construction and the entire site does not have heated sanitary... facilities as stated on the homepage. There is a plastic roof over the shower/toilet, but the power socket area for blow-drying hair is really out in the open, which I find very adventurous. Unfortunately, it is also not possible to adjust the water temperature when showering and there was a certain repair backlog (loose taps and defective hand washing facilities for the ladies). Otherwise there was a sports program which we did not use. The pitches are on the coast road and unfortunately you are woken up by the noise in the early hours of the morning. During the day it didn't bother us that much. For the Acsi price, the stay was fine.Automatski prevedeno.

- fam p.July 2014Dobre strane- Very central location for many excursionsNegativne strane- Street noise - Loud youth animation in the evening - totally overcrowded beach - Lack of cleanliness of the sanitary facilitiesDoes not deliver what it promises! We came across the campsite because of the good reviews on the internet. Unfortunately, our expectations were not really fulfilled. There is only a small sector with pitches on the site...the rest of the huge area is covered with small bungalows...the pitches are located directly on the traffic circle... of a very busy road...the constant accelerating and braking noises due to the traffic circle are therefore part of the permanent background noise! The sanitary facilities are visually an asset, but a disaster in terms of hygiene! The camping beach is in a really beautiful location, but unfortunately there is nowhere near enough space for the many campsite visitors...and the noise level on the beach is correspondingly high! The space in the water is also very limited as a result - ping-pong or a ball game with the children is out of the question, unfortunately! The thing that bothered us the most, however, were the youth groups that were accommodated right next to the pitches - in the evening they enjoyed a loud party animation with games and a sing-along band until 23:00 and longer...in the morning there were puke showers on the program!!!!Automatski prevedeno.
- armand s.June 2014Something for everyone !Prairies de la mer is beautifully situated in the bay of Saint Tropez. Port Grimaud, the Venice on the Cote d'azur,is within walking distance of the park. Here also departs the boat to Saint Tropez. The campsite is absolutely top. One comes here nothing to short!Automatski prevedeno.
- Hartmut P.June 2014Dobre strane- direct access to the beach - several localities on the beach - small funfair for children - sanitary facilities always cleanNegativne strane- directly on the main road - Youth camp which is probably opened every year from JulyVery well locatedThere are mainly mobile homes on the site. A relatively small part is designed as a normal pitch for motorhomes and caravans. The ground on the pitches is sandy and almost all of the pitches are under trees. We stayed on the campsite for three weeks from mid-June to mid-July. The first few weeks were... quiet on the campsite, except for the noise from the main road. Then, in July, a youth camp opened and the peace and quiet was over for the time being. After we complained massively to the reception about the noise after 11.00 pm, the noise pollution was reduced or even stopped. We would visit the campsite again, but not so close to the youth camp and the main road.Automatski prevedeno.
- Frank S.September 2013The site has changed over the years. There are fewer and fewer pitches. Mobile homes are getting out of hand. There are pitches in a wooded area that are very shady. The others are not, so it gets very hot. Packed, noisy and cramped in summer. Like everything down there in high season. If you go near... Saint Tropez in the high season, you shouldn't be surprised at the people and prices. This place makes up for it with its location, it has its own beach. This is almost unheard of on this stretch of coast, as the coastal road is always in between. There is no pool. Several restaurants, snack bars, two supermarkets, amusement arcade, funfair. The pizza on the beach is expensive, but very good and large. The campsite is very large. I've been there with my own tent, but also in a rented mobile home. There are many (international) providers there.Automatski prevedeno.
- Massimo C.September 2013Great location although close to a busy road. Pitches closest to the road are noisy. Outdoor toilets but very clean. Very good general campground facilities.Automatski prevedeno.
- Jörg M.August 2013Large site with many mobile homes. But even with a tent or caravan you get a place about 100m from the beautiful beach. Live music every day, sometimes an ACDC cover band on the beach! But the campsite is always quiet from 11pm. The prices are at St Tropez level, sometimes even a rip-off. Nice beach... bars and the possibility to take the boat from Port Grimaud to St. Tropez. Very beautiful surroundings for excursions. Overall a place with more of a club vacation character. We liked it and the children did too.Automatski prevedeno.
- Michaela W.August 2012We were there 4 years ago and went again this year because of the good time we had then. We were very disappointed this time. You have to differentiate between the front and back part of the square. In the front part of the campsite there was not only noise from the road, but also loud partying people... (barbecues and drinking until 5am etc.). Our bikes were almost stolen one night. A rucksack was stolen from a tent by CP guests on the next pitch. Security was very helpful here. The next day, however, nobody at reception wanted to know anything about it. We were also not approached about the bicycle theft. After 7 sleepless nights, we moved to the back of the campsite. We were able to spend a nice quiet rest of our vacation here. Nevertheless, we won't be going back in the next few years. P.S.: They have now subsequently apologized to us following a written complaint.Automatski prevedeno.
- Martin M.July 2012In high season, the campsite is very busy and the beach is correspondingly full. It's beautiful: clear water, fine sandy beach, restaurant right on the beach (great pizzeria) and view of St Tropez. Unfortunately overcrowded in high season. Many mobile homes dominate the inner area. Pitches tend to be... in the area away from the sea. The traffic noise is sometimes disturbing there. The facilities are lavish, no pool area. The surrounding area is ideal for day trips. St.Tropez is also easy to reach by bike path next to the coastal road about 8km. Port Grimaud right next to the campsite is also worth a visit. Overall quite expensive due to the area. If you are looking for peace and quiet, there are certainly better places, but the location and facilities are great. Sometimes (especially at weekends) groups of young people walk around the campsite late into the night discussing loudly. Sanitary facilities are cleaned 3 times a day. Especially in the pitch area you have to queue in the evening after the beach day, then the 3xtgl cleaning is not enough and especially the showers are only accessible with Croqs. Toilets are clean and in order. The sanitary facilities in the mobile homes area are less frequented (no wonder).Automatski prevedeno.
- Hansjörg E.September 2010It was the 5th time in 30 years that we had visited this campsite. The campsite fees are a bit too high (St. Tropez is just nearby). The consumption prices of the various. But the prices of the various restaurants are beyond all tolerance. - I call this a rip-off - but as a camper you are not dependent... on it - are you? The san. The sanitary facilities were always clean and the staff were very friendly and courteous. We are looking forward to our next visit.Automatski prevedeno.
- Michaela B.September 2010too expensive (26.- Euro/night with 2 persons, electricity 5.- Euro extra!), too loud, badly signposted, too narrow paths in dead ends without possibilities to turn around, because everyone should choose his own parking space, countless vehicles and accessories were spread over two parking spaces to block free spaceAutomatski prevedeno.
- Guenter G.July 2010
- tom b.July 2010lovelessly managed, eternal electric vehicles driving around, beach completely overcrowded, no sandy beach but some sand mixed with gravel, extreme algae infestation on the beach, everything much too narrow (also mobile homes), dried up vegetation, very loud, fairground atmosphere, prices outrageously inflated (campsite supermarket), (lidl and geant can only be reached by mobile), never again...Automatski prevedeno.
- Christian N.May 2010Very poor sanitary facilities,Automatski prevedeno.
